Real Madrid vs Las Palmas

After starting the last 4/5 games Achraf does not even make the bench for todays game eventhough we have a shortage of defenders

Varane out injured. Honestly this guy is Bale-lite. How unreliable

Both Bale and Carvajal have joined training and will probably make it for next weeks derby between two struggling Madrid teams

As for this game, I hope to God, ZZ grows some balls and benches the underperformers to send them a message that the way we played the last two games is totally unacceptable

Theo and Ceballos should definitely start. Not sure if Vallejo is ready for this type of game but he looks set to start

with this team if we score early we're good, we can run up the result (or scrap that, i forgot about ginora); let me say rather, if we can score early and maintain the level of intensity, not to let the back into this game, we are good. i'm concerned about the defense; ramos as the only really experienced guy in that defensive line up has a lot of pressure on him, to command those other guys and keep them in check, the fear now is who keeps ramos in check, cos he needs it, so as not to lose his head or marker

that midfield will be interesting to see what they can do; if we actually put that out there, its a chance for them to put pressure on modric kroos et al. i really don't know about lucas starting, but let's see.

we should be able to beat las palmas, but if the game gets slow by the 20th minute it will be a tough one. if not i'm expecting goals from cristiano and benzema tonight, high time they got on the score sheet

Honestly for the way we play you cant find a better striker than Morata. Most of our goals are from the wngs and most of Morata's goals are from headers.....most logical combination except in the eyes of ZZ

Glad Modric was dropped, he's been poor for a while now. Though i would've liked to have seen Ceballos there instead of Asensio. Oh another game of Marcelo putting down the red carpet for the oppo winger....great

Seriously, this is an IDEAL match for Ceballos and Hernandez. I get us continuing with Benzema, we really have no one else but we actually have 2 fine players to replace Kroos and Marcelo...against Las Palmas.

i actually thought the idea behind selling morata was to spend that money on another forward....but alas. agree about modric being dropped, he hasn't had a good game in a while, it would be good for him to clear his head for a bit. i hope it sends a message to everyone that they can't relax. everyone except benzema, that is, with mayoral as his competition, he has basically been given permission to sleep throughout this season. that said i'm expecting a big game from him today, not link ups, not "assists", not one-twos but at least a goal. same goes for cristiano, high time our forwards started scoring, it is NOT too much to ask.

just like bill, i have an weird Illarra like feeling about Vallejo. he is getting his first start in la liga, hopefully he doesn't get a red card...

If forwards do not score, they really don't serve much purpose.

gotta feel sorry for las palmas they are gonna take the back lash from the spurs game and get ruined badly

Meh we have 3 draws and 3 defeats this season. We won't be beating the ctap out of any team. Our forwards can barely score. I'll be happy if Ronaldo goes on a scoring run than us mauling this poverty team. We need a scoring Ronaldo more than anything this season

Vallejo's performance has been very positive, thus far in this match.
