Dog Day Afternoon (1975)

Think that was my first Al Pacino film. Can see why he is rated as the GOAT actor. Unbelievable performance. 10/10 acting. Direction was flawless too.

Story wasn't the strongest but I believe it's based on real life. It was hilarious though. Some truly bizarre scenes you wouldn't expect in a bank robbery.

8/10

Have you seen A Clockwork Orange?

Not black and white, but it's an incredible film. One of my all time favorites.

I've read the book in high school multiple times and it was great. I'll add it to the list.

The Shining
Aliens
Dazed and Confused
The Breakfast Club

Seen The Breakfast Club, ET, Full Metal Jacket, and Scarface.

All were such a long time ago that I remember them very little. Scarface I've seen multiple times so I remember well. But the rest, none of them struck me as movies I'd ever want to watch again which is why I haven't rewatched.

I meant out of the ones I've seen a long time (The Breakfast Club, ET, Full Metal Jacket, and Scarface) the only rewatchable for me was Scarface. The rest weren't rewatchable.

I've never seen Ferris Bueller.

Full Metal Jacket is my favorite war movie.

If you want some good black and whites you sleeped on there's Schindler's List, Raging Bull, Paths of Glory, Citizen Kane and Psycho.

The only elite movie (over 8.0 on IMDB) I've watched recently and liked was Leon: The Professional. hmm

Regarding the Dunkirk trailer

As a trailer it doesn't hype me that much, but the movie the trailer is showing I can't wait for. Nolan's trailers have never done too much for me, which is great considering that his movies almost always are amazing. So this is of course a day one. Always gotta support my boy Tom Hardy and 'Arry Styles

Loved how little Tom hardy was shown tbh. Specially considering he is the main character.

Disappointed at no Michael Caine

Sure he's the main character? Pretty sure I read it was the young fellows if there even were any mains. Probably pretty even. Great cast overall though.
