it was the most obvious tactical move and everything planned out for them... park the bus at 0-0 till barca score, then get out with your original home game gameplan and force a goal on ur own. the extra mintues parking the bus just gave them extra stamina down the road. they got what they wanted but messi just makes the difference

What game plan? You call that ptb. Barca kept playinh over the top balls behind their high backline and all they did was just hack down any player that came close to them. Their who approach was cowardlike. Iraizoz was time wasting at 1-0 the bastard. Glad they went out. Dont want Barca or Atleti facing them and having an easy passage to the next round

they kept us out for 36 minutes before they had the change tactics and start pressing again, regards of the fouls... seems like a decent execution. they outplayed us many times at the midfield and are dangerous every time. good luck facing them away in march

You had a legit goal ruled out in like 15th min ffs. Stop overrating them. Even a Rafa led RM team beat them. Not worried about the away game at all

There have been two very close offside calls so far against Sevilla that looked perfectly onside to me.

Also, Sevilla are leading and deservedly so.

Z has made many changes and left out many key players. It's good to rotate, but you should never underestimate your opponent, especially a team like Sevilla.

Sevilla could have easily turned this tie around until now.. so many opportunities.
Real getting some very good opportunities too though, now.

Sevilla look pretty unplayable tonight, and coupled with the fact that after a 3:0 first leg result you'll always go into a game slightly complacent and less intense (this is impossible to avoid I guess) it's no surprise Sevilla's well-drilled super-intensity would be a problem for Real.

As things stand, Real still go through comfortably.

Apart from the opening 10 minutes where Sevilla were all over them, Madrid haven't been that troubled in this game. They look menacing on the counter and untroubled by Sevilla's pressing.

Sevilla right now keep screwing up the final pass on counters and are committing a lot of men beyond the ball. Iborra's runs from midfield are leaving Kranevitter isolated.

Will be interesting to see how Jovetic fits into this. I'm guessing he'll play just behind Vietto (who was playing deep anyway) and Ben Yedder.

Lenglet has looked very good on his debut.

Strongly disagree. I think you looked menacing the entire half, and had you been a little more clinical with your finishing, you would've been level by now.

Of course our lineup didn't help either, but I wouldn't take anything away from Sevilla. They deserve to be ahead.

Definitely interesting from a tactical point. It feels like neither team wants to fully show their hand considering the La Liga match up is this Sunday, however, Sevilla really need to go for it now.
