Mr Nick09 wrote:Why do u mention weigl when you have busquets? Think he will come to sit on the bench? Coutinho is a good shout but ask yourself why Klopp plays him More in the attacking 3 than the midfield. You guys really enjoy self destruction lol
I mentioned Weigl and Coutinho as examples of quality players, we dont need to land quite the exact ones necessarily but ones of that mold.
I also think we gotta start putting faith into La Masia again, some players coming out are actually promising like Alena or Kaptoum.

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17: La Cuarta Parte
I would sign Verratti and Ramsey for Barcelona's midfield.
Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17: La Cuarta Parte
Ramsey?
You do know Barca rely on players who can keep possession. Veratti may be a possibility next season when he realises they can't compete in Europe. Barca need a whole midfield makeover. All 3 of them are finished/not good enough. Coutinho won't improve that midfield because he is an attacker. They should probably go after Rabiot/Marchisio/Weigl/Enzo Perez/Wanyama to improve that midfield.

Continue playing a certain type of football that goes in line with the culture of the club while maintaining a very high standard of winning that was brought by the previous group of (essentially) legendary midfielders.
Yup, whoever is in charge of transfers at Barcelona has a rather, um, challenging task.

Yup. Decent game so far. Both teams have missed a guilt-edged chance.

After Marca had an article asking their readers whether they agreed with Barca fans applauding their players off the pitch after their rather limp 2nd leg performance none other than Pique (trump 2.0) thought it was a good time to reply with:
"It must sting to see the Camp Nou applaud their team despite being eliminated, Real Madrid fans] are used to hearing whistles, even if they qualify."
Somebody must treat his unhealthy obsession with RM asap. This guy would call it an excellent season if Barca got manitad against Bayern as long as we didn't win and Ronaldo didn't score lmao
I hope we destroy them on Saturday. Time to put the LL title race to bed once and for all so that this guy can go back to play commentator on our games on twitter

He didn't say anything when Barca fans stayed up all night and attempted to sabotage Inter players by creating noise outside of the hotel they were staying in before their CL final against Barca

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17: La Cuarta Parte
He is just a troll, nothing to really obsessive. Him and Ramos usually go at each other now and then but usually, it's Pique that is the instigator. As Ramos actually said (paraphrasing), since the words are coming from Pique, no one at Madrid takes it serious because it's Pique. If it were Iniesta or Lionel saying those things, trust me, Perez would literally hold a press conference to address it.
As for the Clasico, hope it's a controversial win for us. After Tuesday, I miss how much I enjoy seeing fans froth in seething anger over the net.

Barcelona has an advantage
Madrid are not only mired by major injuries, they are also extremely tired from that 120 min game

Mired by injuries? We have 2 CBs injured that's it. Bale is back in training.

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17: La Cuarta Parte
So Barca just botched the Neymar appeal after they failed to get the appeal to TAD in time before the 3o'clock deadline Perez ffs pulling the plugs out of the TAD fax machine just in time
The TAD said it had not received any communication from Barcelona seeking temporary stay on the ban pending appeal by 15:00 CET, the deadline for doing so. “No appeal of any kind has been presented and we have ended our meeting,” the TAD president Enrique Arnaldo told reporters. “Nobody has asked for an appeal to be studied.”
When quizzed as to what course the TAD might take if an appeal was lodged later in the day, Arnaldo said: “We have never reconvened in the afternoon. We have had our meeting.”
Barcelona claim they did send the paperwork and announced at 13:00 that the club was seeking to exhaust the final legal path to have Neymar’s ban provisionally suspended.

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17: La Cuarta Parte
Mes que un club at it again Imagine risking a walk over because you're so desperate to feature a player. Only Barca can interpret the law different from everybody else
Despite the ramifications that could come their way, Barcelona are set to push forward with their intention to deploy Neymar against Real Madrid.
The forward was given a two-game ban, in addition to the red card he sustained against Malaga, for sarcastically applauding the match officials, with the suspension ruling him out of El Clasico.
However, Barcelona have attempted to find a way around the ban by leaving the lodging of their appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport until the final moments on Friday.
The Spanish Sports Tribunal intended to meet on Saturday but that failed to materialise, resulting in the CAS announcing that they would send the Blaugrana a letter to inform them why Neymar would be unavailable against Real, although Barcelona have challenged that view.
Barcelona believe that Neymar is free to feature because from the moment that they launched their appeal with the CAS on Friday, the administrative process was still open.
Although the CAS's ruling on Saturday morning would suggest the opposite, Barcelona view that as only an interpretation of the law and not a final ruling of the court.
Therefore, it is Barcelona's opinion that Neymar is free to play against Real Madrid on Sunday although if they choose to start the Brazilian, they may run the risk of forfeiting the game due to fielding an ineligible player

Can't wait for Barca to play Neymar, an automatic forfeit of el clasico and la liga and then we will see Harmonica going absolutely nuts (as if he isn't already)!!!

What makes you say that? RM's players are probably tired as hell after their last game. Barca aren't even in the CL anymore, so they should be significantly more motivated to get something out of this match.

@Myesyats, Not sure about that. Bale is pretending to be uninjured (literally). The medics say he has significant oedema in his legs while he says he is fine. So he'll probably start and we'll be handicapped.
Messi is finally goinf to get his Clasico after his rather long sabbatical whereas ZZ will realise in the 89th min that we need to make a sub when chasing the game. There hasn't been a big game this season (bar against Atleti) where we haven't been behind first so Barca will probably score frst and then it'll be up to our players whether they havd the energy for yet another comeback

I'll be disappointed if Chat isnt open for this game.
RM 3-1. Barca is trash this season other than the 6-1 win against PSG.

AS turning up the campaign against Bale
Apparently he'll miss about a month from his new injury according to them. He is out of the CL semis.

Of course they would he came for a world record fee and hasn't even lived up to it, gets paid 350K weekly salary and spends more time injured.
I'd say him missing the semifinal is probably a good thing for RM tbh.

Granada deserved the loss and deserve to be relegated. They just dont have the quality atm. Big win for Villareal over ATM tonight as wel in their run for EL. Great defending from them. ATM just dont have the attacking creativity when teams defend that well
