Did they make BF2 more team based? Felt like it from the 2-3 games I played. Reason why I didn't pick up D2.

They made it in a way that would mean EA are going to create world wide tournaments and try and market this as an e-sport.

There's classes so by design yeah, but i didn't feel like it tbh. The only time i was bitching about team mates was towards the end of the game most of the time.

I found it very casual and easy to carry. I mean i was top 5 in the leaderboard like every game which as you know never happens.

But it's just one map so the main game might be more or less team intensive.

I doubt that tbh, this game would fundamentally fail as an E-Sport imo.

Only way it would even come close to even working is if you ban heroes and reinforcements.

I don't know much about esports but I imagine even the smaller BF game modes are too big. Usually shooters scale back to like 4 v 4 if they want a competitive mode, 8 is too much imo.

As for team based, meh. Not massively but obviously in a 20 v 20 game if your team aren't playing the objective then good luck carrying 19 people I guess. Not happening.

I think it's because the objectives on Naboo are pretty simple tbh so I found carrying pretty easy.

It was either shoot at big moving tank with ion Cannons or stop people from shooting at big moving tank with ion Cannons.

Only time I felt like stupid team mates became an issue was when you had to take the small rooms inside as people refused to take them sometimes lol.

Maybe other maps will be a problem but we'll see.

Mole going against the general opinion, as usual I haven't played BF2, but this seems to be the year where the big franchises throw their shit and stick it to a windshield. FIFA 18 is the biggest shit of them all, and that could work in BF2's favour. It could be the Hagen Dazs of Star Wars nostalgia that FIFA players need in order to comfort them through the winter and make them fat enough to appreciate the desultory next instalment in the FIFA franchise next year, when Alex Hunter's mixed, transgender offspring becomes the next big thing in the extremely unlikely scenario that both women's football and the MLS become so popular that Americans appreciate it even though half of the players are men wearing make up (no offense intended towards trans people).

Against general opinion? Nah not at all, most on reddit, neogaf etc etc like the game lol.

Besides only 4 people on this forum have played the game, 2 like it and 2 didn't.

There's no majority or minority opinion here lol, besides I couldn't care less tbh. I enjoyed the game a lot and unless they *bleep* up I'll play it for a long time to come.

That's all that matters to me, couldn't care less about what other people think.

Based on what I read on the internet and heard from people who played the beta, they didn't enjoy it much Both Destiny 2 and BF2 seem to use bigger content as a selling point this year. Do you think that'll be enough to make people appreciate these sequels?

Nah most people enjoyed the game but were bitching about loot boxes because people told them things which weren't true.

As in it's Pay to Win because some youtube channels said so, which wasn't true at all. It might become that way because it's EA but there was nothing in the beta which suggested that.

But people got outraged because you know well internet gonna internet, but from what i gathered most people enjoyed the game itself.

I have no idea about Destiny but i suspect people who enjoy this game will keep playing it tbh and because it's Star Wars around a new movie it will sell ridiculously well.

Said before that my only concerns for this game is Dice over balancing things and EA flipping the switch on some microtransaction bullshit like Activision do with CoD.

But as of now i don't have those concerns.

Star wars fans will love it. Casuals will like Destiny 2 instead. fps lovers will play cod ww2 instead.

From what i read on reddit, people don't like the loot box system in BF2 and the micro-transaction. Everyone loves the visuals.

I don't think this game has a long life span honestly. Not even Mole will be playing this post jan IMO.
