Yea the Theon subplot feels a bit out of place, dunnit? Laughing

I mean of all the other stories they could have gone with they give us this one, who really cares anymore now, even though Alfie is probably the best actor on this show, they've just underused his character in recent seasons.

I guess we all just got what we expected/already knew. Jon is the true chosen one; that incest moment was bound to happen; ice dragon and the Night King riding it like Prime Dany Laughing

I loved that haha.

Big believer in Tormund and the other guy not dying from that because D&D.

Overall not such a great season. But I have high hopes for the final season. I hope there goes some fluent writing and thought into it.

Problem with Theon is he's a coward that's mentally broken and after his earlier shenanigans is irredeemable short of single handedly K.Oing the night king, he killed younglings ffs Laughing

Theon the character is a nobody at this point with an unimportant agenda. Literally give zero shits about his minuscule power plays with the Iron jobbers.

The final ended with a lot of question marks and possibly hidden agendas.

Tyrion and Cersei scene cut off when he said to her "you're pregnant". Before that he told her how much he loves her children, so either he has no idea she was going to screw them or she convinced him somehow to come back and make amends for the new child.

Jamie and Cersei added to this when she told him after, she does usually tell him these kind of things ahead of time, but hid it this time, even when he was leaving he said, "I don't believe you", now was that towards the fact she was going to kill him or about her being pregnant? Could be possibly to both too.

At the end the scene between Jon and Dany with Tyrion creeping on them, not only did it foreshadow the whole Lyanna and Rhaegar's during their sex scene, but it left me scratching my head about what Tyrion was thinking, he either planned something with Cersei, he either feels their relationship may make things complicated, especially when Balish told Sansa about rumors on how attractive Dany is, which isn't going to go well when he tells the North to bend their knees to her, or he feels his job might come in jeopardy, as Dany will start to listen to Jon more.

Yeah none of that is going to happen. That is so out of character for Tyrion to plan anything of that sort with Cersei AND behind Dany's back.

Imo he was simply worried that Jon and Dany getting that intimate could jeopardize their alliance in a few different ways. Which is a logical conclusion. It would have been strange for him to smile/be happy at Jon and Dany boning.

Yeah in the last epi he says he only sees the present and past, which kinda blows the "Night King is a greenseer" theory of why he was ready for the dragons.

So what was the Night King's plan if he didn't have a dragon?!

I still think the Night King is some sort of greenseer, why would Bran being, or not being, something have anything to do with the NK?

Also, Bran is new at this. The previous 3-eyed raven was a greenseer. He knew that Bran was the chosen one and guided him, so he must have seen the future. Bran will probably learn it with time, his training was just cut short because he screwed with the NK in the middle of it.

It will be so cool tho if Tyrion is plotting against Dany especially now that Jamie is slowly joining the good guys. But it wont happen. Because the show writers will be a bit scared at this point to tamper with his image as one of the 3 main heroes of GoT (the other 2 ofc being Jon and Dany).

Also, if it was indeed a backstabbing situation, they could have him display that look practically whenever they wanted, not necessarily at this particular scene.
Here it is, just him being worried of the possible complications such an intimacy would cause. Its strange because, there were some instances this season when they showed Tyrion to be having no problem with such a love being bloomed. He even smiled once when Dany was mentioning Jon's name suggesting he clearly knew her mind.
He should have seen it coming. So him reacting that way is indeed a bit strange.

Jealousy angle is bs tho. Tyrion is not the man he was during first 4 seasons. Gone are the days when he used to do his thinking with his cok lol.

Tyrion mentions the question of Dany's succession and making plans for it, so much so that he gets a piece of her mind for it.

I think that's just him being relieved that she's trying to love again. He probably sees ~~Jon~~ Aegon as another calming hand to Dany's impulsive decisions, much like he sees himself as one of the advisers keeping her in check.

I didn't enjoy how Tyrion was repeatedly outsmarted by Cersei through the season.

I thought the attack on Casterly Rock was brilliantly laid out, but Cersei was a step ahead.

The same with him meeting Jaime in secret, though Cersei was aware and allowed it to happen to hold that over Jaime later.

Then again with Euron's supposed fleeing and her lie wrt marching north for the Great War.
