Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 3
Mourinho will make sure he has a bare minimum of 6 players behind at all times. I will be surprised if we loose today therefore (will be surprised if we win too tho lol). So, yea a scoreless or a 1-1 draw at best.

could be far worse, could have spent 400m on Mustankio, Calhanoglu, Kessie etc
and have the likes of Suso among our best players
compared to that tripe our starting XI looks like an all time great ya melt

Man Utd XI vs Spurs: De Gea; Jones, Bailly, Smalling; Valencia, Matic, Herrera, Young; Rashford, Mkhitaryan; Lukaku.
Herrera's been shite this season, Smalling could be good or a calamity and Young
think it'll be a tight game but we'll come out on top

It's literally a match between Mourinho and Mourinho-lite. Both probably play the worst football amongst the top teams.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Pochettino is a poor man's Mourinho, both in the literal and the figurative sense.
In the literal, as he is able to form a strong, consistent, hard to beat unity of a team like Mourinho, but can do so on a much smaller budget.
In the figurative sense, as he's Mourinho's bitch tactically.

Bailly looking dominant. Still, this kind of performance, though expected, really does leave you drained. We will approach every big game this way. Would rather get knocked out in the CL groups in that case so we can destroy Milan in EL.

This Mini-Mou argument is exaggerated, Mou even made Klopp seem boring

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 3
Lol what were you guys expecting? It says a lot our best player attacking wise in the 2 big games we have played this season has been Ashley frakking Young.
And fans bashing the players instead of the manager. His negativity has seeped into each and every player out on the pitch. Sad state of affairs they still think this coward is the one who is going to make us once again dominant as a club.

Mourinho's negativity is finally starting to seep in, you won't see those 4-0s at the start of the season again. They would be a lot better with a more positive manager.

Why do they keep saying Man Utd need to win this? Draw would be a good result, for both tbh.
In their fight for top4. They can forget about catching City anyway, title race is decided.

The amount of space that 2 of the best EPL defenses give each other baffles me. A Messi or prime Iniesta would kill this league.
