Who called this United team a title contender ? Don't embarrass the league pls. They should be happy finishing 4th

Another flop performance from Lukaku against a decent side

in what reality was this a one sided 1-0 when we had a half dozen decent chances Laughing

Chelsea were better but let's not act like we just got destroyed, that's what happens when you lose 5-0 or w/e it was Loserpool lost by recently.

They would be under a more positive manager, Mourinho's negativity is holding them back.

He allowed them to play freely early on and they were running through teams, since he reverted to type they have struggled to score suddenly.

It's not a coincidence.

a narrow loss away to Chelsea and we aren't title contenders? when we just comfortably beat Spurs who went on and humiliated Madrid. Of course we're contenders you melt. Have a higher % of winning CL than you too.

Two things made Chelsea win today.

1. They can pass the ball.
2. They didn't have Matic. I watched him carefully and his performances were embarrassing. I don't give a shit about the number of tackles or things like that as long as you need 4 or 5 touches and 3 minutes to decide where to pass and then lose it or just pass it backwards. Any player with some decent pace can get past Matic in 99/100 situations. At United he has been completely useless. Only good thing I saw at him was the shot that created the goal against Benfica. Other than that, he is slow, he isn't creative, he can't defend, he is always tired, loses almost all 50/50 duels.

Like @RED said and like I said before the season, we should be happy if we finish in top 4.

PS. Money weren't well spent of course. Lindelof and Matic look awful so far.

I might have mentioned it before, but the stats suggest that even if City's performances drop they'll still be better than everyone else. They'd have to either be very unlucky, or flop hard, to not win the title this season.

Anyways my point of that list is, that it seems United and Mou put all their eggs in one basket with Pogba out and Lakuku going MIA this is what they'll be expecting throughout the season. It was the same last season and a big weakness, but they didn't do much in the transfer window.

These are the official GL recognized numbers

Plus added some GL tax to comply with IFRS standards

Expected result. Slightly better performance than the Liverpool away game. We always lose to Chelski these days(last season home win a surprising exception) So, lol wasnt expecting anything. Also, it wasnt the right time to play them unfortunately as it came after their midweek humbling.

Euros or pounds, both clubs have tried to out spend each other

Difference being

Pep spent €300M to try and win the league

Mourinho spent €300M to try and finish 4th

You can see in their mentality and their football
