What a terrible, terrible week.
Roma, Napoli, Inter, Lazio; all dropping points.
Not that they played against scrub teams though.

2 things for great justice
- Allow 1 challenge per coach. Right now the referee has to call his own mistakes, it's madness.
- Have a VAR specialist in the stadium, who watch every situation (off side, fouls, corners). Then give the ref a walkie-talkie so both himself and the "VAR specialist" are in constant talks during the match. No need to waste 1½ minute for a video replay in 2017.
It is basically already so.
VAR always works for 4 situations. It intervenes for 1 Goals , if they are regular or not 2 About penalty kicks 3 About red cards ( if it is a direct red card ) 4 mistaken identity about players ( giving a card to another )
No corner kicks for example and I agree on it. Otherwise it 'd be so much . Anyway I believe to not have never watched the time broken for 2 minutes. 30 seconds max. Basically the time wasted for every hypochondriac footballer whenever their team is winning 1-0... Football is the kingdom of useless waste of time, so I don't get the problem to lose some second to make justice
I repeat, it always works. That means it always controls these situations and when there is not intervention it means just there was " silent check " to confirm ref's decisions.
This has done from 2 (not just 1 ) VAR specialists in the stadium , VAR 1 and VAR 2
If ref is not still convinced about VAR specialists' decision , he goes direct to control it.
Then I don't get the thing about allowing 1 challenge per coach.
Football is not volley.
Imagining to not could control a goal scored by hand because you already used it for an offside. If there is technology it must be used really, otherwise it doesn't make sense.

Think there's anything to this?
Basically, Donnarumma [Raiola], is trying to nullify the contract signed this passed summer
"So Gigio, after perceiving three monthly payments, sent a document to the executives in which he claims to have been the subject of psychological pressure"
"Certainly Raiola aims to take away Donnarumma on a free basis (without extension, the contract would expire next June)"
This is insane really. He's collecting his 6M salary with a smile but has the audacity to cite that he was under psychological pressure to sign this new deal from the club. I'm really not sure how Milan fans could stand this, between him and Raiola, its a nasty duo.
PSG bound

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
its raiola for sure, this man is cancer
hes as good as gone, but right now id take 100m for him, hes not been anywhere near the hype hes been given, i expect him to flop wherever he goes because hes just 18 and keepers sometimes need years to develop properly
if we did turn things around in the league he might stay, but we should honestly make it a habit not to deal with raiola...every *bleep* window he tries this crap

Italy is the country of the Mafia
There must be hundreds of professional problem-solvers hanging around idly
why can't Raiola be taken care of?
The guy is clearly a problem begging to be solved

Seriously did anyone expect for Donnarumma to stay ?
It was clear that it was a "forced" extention , because Donnarumma hadn't interest to stay on bench..... "otherwise he 'll miss World Cup" . Missed equally lol

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
yeah, my only hope now is that we fetch a huge price for him and hes the only player we sell
and raiola is one of the old school players still alive in italian football, he does things like nobody is watching him and operates in a way that would work well with our old management (b&g) and certainly he honed his skills during some of the more mafiaso-style management that used to run rife in the league. Most those others are gone now, yet he remains
of all his players that he manages, only few have ever resisted a move that he obviously pushed for, and usually i was a fan of him because he often brought his players to milan but now hes taking them away and surely he wont want to deal with us going forward
were going to need an anti-raiola clause pretty soon

Let's be honest, Gigio would have played 0 games in the WC no matter what...
Raiola is a shark, he'll use every tactic, i bet he figured out last summer that a delayed move would be more profitable for him.
Must be a smooth ambiance in Milang's locker room these days

Re: The 2017/18 Calcio Thread: Part 2
There's supposed to be a 70M release clause if Milan make the CL spots and a 40M clause should they not but they're looking to nullify this contract- that Donnarumma has already been collecting his massively improved wage on, allowing him to leave for free in June.
Now, he'll leave but it won't be for free. Milan could possibly tie him up for years because his contract is until 2021, but given that Milan is a team of class and Donnarumma is a literal piece of shit, I think they'll cut their losses and sell him.
So talented but oh so dumb, Szczesny>

1 challenge per coach is enough, for urgency purpose... like yesterday if the ref is too dense.
Currently VAR is not a serious thing, only there for the show & controversies (not that i'd expect anything less coming from the FIGC)
Because in my logic referees should be in constant talks with those video specialists. With Bluetooth or whatever else, i don't know much about hi tech. They can communicate in private for litigious actions. Instead of stopping the game.
VAR is here to stay, at this point i just wish for the righteous use of it. That said, you have your opinion and i have mine, both will never change. Fair enough.
