Ffs, he cant even play in the fking CL for us, which is what we need the most I guess in terms of strengthening...

Fk I cant help but feel this is just one of those deal the management is doing in order to try and look good and keep their status and everybody 'happy'.

I cant see it, but still hope Coutinho somehow fits in our team....

Even though I'm not a fan of his, I don't see why Coutinho wouldn't fit in Barca. Put him in Iniesta's role and that's it. He'll have enough cover with Paulinho + Busquets/Rakitic (or whoever else).

Maybe the reason they're trying to get him now even though he can't play in the CL is because they're afraid of the competition in the summer?

Anyway, I don't think you should be worried about him not fitting in your system because regardless of whether or not he does, he'll add valuable depth to your squad, something that Barcelona have been missing for quite some time now.

Depth is not about signing mediocre players for the sake of having depth. It's about having elite talent in the starting eleven and on the bench, and I think having Dembelé and Coutinho is a step towards having that.

BTW, Florentino must be fuming right now. It wasn't enough that he's trailing Barcelona by 15 points and virtually has no chance in hell to win the league this season, he also has to adjust to the fact that his arch-rivals are splashing money left and right to strengthen their depth while he has to sit through 90 minutes of Benzema every week.
