He's not that good.

He actually is a good footballer but I think a club like Betis is just about his level. Still a good team but they won't crucify him after 1 bad match. Or several.

Its not rocket science, the explanation is right here.

He pretty much joined Liverpool for 60m last season, but then they found out his knee is fucked during the medical. No other club would pay a higher fee than 20m for someone who failed his medical last year.

Nothing wrong with him as a footballer at all. Very bad off-the-pitch lifestyle though and his "entourage" is horrible.

The people surrounding him are costing him his career. Too bad. Talented player; but not the brightest.

He could have gone to EPL and Serie for more btw. But he chose to play in La Liga as he felt it fit his style better.

Torn ACL ruined him in terms of pace unfortunately. So he'll never be elite after that. Very skilled.

@M99... his knee wasn't the biggest issue for Liverpool allegedly. Rumor is his "entourage" wanted all sorts of perks and money under the table at the last minute. That last part killed the deal more than anything.

I think that demand for number 10s has fallen off a cliff in recent years. Most teams aren't interested in players that are neither proper midfielders nor natural wingers. Players like Fekir impose certain tactical restrictions on their teams and need the whole setup to be built around them. Just look at how nobody seems to give a shit about Ziyech or how James is being traded around like a Pokemon card.

Ziyech not really a 10 anymore, his game has evolved. And i expect him to find a big club by the end of this summer.

Fekir.. no sympathy. And sports pretty much put the nail in the coffin.
