Agreed, the CL group will be very competitive. United and Valencia will fight it out for qualification to the very end. Can see Mou screwing that up by going for 6 draws.

PL is far superior lol. You wouldn't be 4/4 playing like you have been in GOAT league. I can see you being eliminated in the CL too. Can't wait. You definitely need to be cautious of Valencia too.

Fast start for Cagliari-Milan. Both had chances immediately. Then Pavoletti hit the post on a break and Joao Pedro scored the rebound. Cagliari 1-0

I honestly don't think I've seen an 'elite' name like Milan be as garbage as this in my lifetime so far

you keep thinking things will improve for them each season but they just seem further and further away

don't see them getting back to CL this decade. Dreadful stuff.

The problem with teams like this Milan is not that they can't do extraordinary stuff. It's that they can't do the basic stuff properly.
Pass simple passes without wasting too much time. Control the ball. Etc.

Gattuso is doing a bad job too though. It's absolutely clear as day that beyond being a Milan legend as a player there's nothing at all that qualifies him for the job.
That's not a team. That's not good football. That's not good organisation.

Meanwhile a guy like Conte is not working..

Agreed. Trying to elevate the team with Gattuso is not the answer. He came in, brought order, improved the mentality of the team, but now Milan needs a proper coach.

Gattuso needs to learn how to coach at SPAL, not at Milan. Too many better choices to choose from just in the league.

Thoughts on Leonardo Semplici?

I hadn't paid much attention to him. Last season SPAL was always hard to beat and surprisingly managed to stay up in their first season in A in decades. Didn't care about them more than that.

Now I'm watching SPAL-Atalanta and it's absolutely clear how well coached and sharp SPAL are. They have too terrible a squad to be doing this well by chance.

Lega Pro to Serie B, immediate promotion to A, stays in A. hmm
