I was more agreeing with him that they aren't a lock top 4 seed more than that they are worst than Cleveland tbh.

Look these are the facts.

You won 35 games last year, Lebron has won 55 games or more once since 2013 and hasn't won 60+ since winning 66 games in Miami in 2013.

Not to mention all these seasons ( last year aside) he played for a better team against worse competition.

I think A. You are vastly overestimating his supporting cast B. Vastly underestimating how hard it is to win games in the West.

Lads, it‘s LeBron James.

Combine that with some decent depth (who can keep the game going while he‘s resting) and you have the recipe for a 50+ win record.

Barely, the best record they had was 57 wins and aside from that it was between 52-54 and that's against much worse competition.

I wouldn't be surprised if they get in the low 50s at a max, there's a bunch of teams in the West who are capable of that but that's not the argument here.

LeBron didn't come here purely because of Basketball (something almost everyone mocked me for saying). It's a legacy move as more than an athlete as he's promoting himself.
Also his wife wanted L.A. and nowhere else. And his sons want to play in the NBA and L.A has some of the best schools and competition on the AAU and high school level, so it makes sense to move here.

LeBron's oldest son is going to play with Scottie Pippen and Kenyon Martins sons.

But Windhorst has said LeBron is willing to wait 1-2 years and let Lakers build something around him, which means they're not trading at least Lonzo and Kuzma, and adding Kawhi next season.

Never in a million years. Lonzo is the perfect PG for a team like this.

I don't like Kemba particularly much. Also don't see his fit. He demands too much of the ball. Lonzo doesn't need the ball, he usually wants to get rid of it.

Also, he's a 10x better defender than Kemba imo. Which is needed on this team. Cavs started to fail because lack of defense.

I'd only trade for Kawhi. Kemba is not on a level that I'd sacrifice assets for him. Don't see any PG I'd trade for really.

Kemba would give you a legitimate second scoring option though, a poor man's Kyrie essentially
