There's still plenty of time for both parties to find a common ground and strike a deal. So, to all the Madrid fans here, we're still not out of the woods just yet and I would refrain from claiming victory too soon if I were you.

There are a lot of articles to read today and this transfer saga, and how and why it failed. PSG apparent interest in not selling their players and just using barca to sit their authority. Likewise Barca lack of interest in signing Neymar and making low ball offers not to upset Messi who really wanted him. Neymar seems like he was the only one to believe this would happen.

And Madrid, seems like it's the Neymar clan that used our name to get barca riled up and create a need for barca to hurry in making a deal

I read Bartomeu was purposely low-balling PSG because he didn't REALLY want to sign Neymar back.

According to French media the first official offer from Barca arrived at the 27th. So they didnt seriously expect to wrap up such a complicated move in a couple of days? They just pretended to be interested

Everything always circles back to Messi and fulfilling his wishes. There must be some truth to it.

The theory is that socios where afraid of the deal going through because of wages and fear that socios wud ave to foot some of his wages or thereabout. I think they did want to sign him but just couldnt pay what psg was asking for. It's really that simple. Good on psg for not going with the deal

But there's still next summer, so it's up to psg to mend fences with the player or expect another saga
