tough game as expected against Getafe, they press all over the pitch and Zidane choice to play the 4312 is not the right one here. Isco is not able to contribute anywhere on the pitch, he doesnt offer anything. There is no width and no speed u front to push Getafe back.

We have a lead, Courtois is making saves, but hopefully we maintain the lead. Vinicius would be an interesting sub in second half for Isco

Of course, football is love, Real Madrid is cancer. Anyway, I could say this without a shadow of a doubt, for the first time, Conetois has been our best player out there. Excellent goal keeping.

Everyone else, well, depends. Our attack has been dog shit. Our defending has been good minus certain moments.

Isco is in no mans land, no contributions whatsoever, understandable considering everyone loses the ball the moment they get it especially Bale

Courtois doing great good for him, midfield too slow and not enough width, bring on Valverde at the half for modric, 60 mins rod or vini for isco and need to get another early, cause it's likely getafe could tie if they don't tire out by 70 mins.

The way the midfield and isco is performing there is nothing to work with the other players have to do the jobs too for the attackers to be effective.

Knowing Zidane he will make the first sub in the 70th minute. Too predictable that game. Bale will see the game out of course

Watching Modric out there struggling hurts my heart tbh. You can tell he no longer can cope with this level of football, sigh.

Conetois' level is just good. Maybe very good if everything is aligned for him but he is just a good goalie, nothing grand.

Thibuuu has made high level saves all game but because he is not jumping around like 5'8 Keylord, it's not good enough short keepers always have this impressive athletic style when they are good which makes you think they are better than they are... gee me a break

Yeah, he was great today. I also saw Lucas Vasquez be great as well. Conetois is just a good goalie, no idea what you guys see besides good goalieness.

That being said, much better 2nd half, match felt more in Madrid's control. Seeing Vini miss another 1v1 was nice to see, I don't feel like he isn't Madrid quality at all after that. What else, yeah, what Nick said about Casemiro.

Good cameo by Jovic and Valverde was excellent when he came on as usual

Good win bale is unlucky not score a brace clearly not confident, the team is trying to play more long passes from deep, which is good but the midfield distribution is terrible, too much sideways and backpasses, Valverde with another great game, the chance creating needs to be consistent can't rely on mistakes and just counters to unlock teams.

Nice game from jovic when he hits form it will help a lot, vini needs to square the ball when the angle is tight always forcing shit, needs to go on loan to some weak team to chill out for 2 season, stop making noobish mistakes.

Hopefully Modric and Bale seeing the game out means thet won't play a minute against Valencia. Valencia wont be as forgiving as Getafe
