Cerrone is being way too underrated here. He's one of the most complete MMA fighters in UFC and has many records for a reason and has been fighting in UFC (top level) for years and years.

Its obvious the Conor that fought today was not the same one against Khabib just obvious by his training and general demeanour. Khabib year Conor would never have pounced with such ingenuity to throw slow starting Cowboy off like that and the strategy was absolutely perfect. Many very good fighters have lost in such fashion as more praise should go for Conor for improvising as he did. It definitely was not wise charging in like that but the shoulder charge threw even a heavily experienced Cowboy off and its a shame there was basically no spectacle for us but my confidence in the Irishman has shot up and now he will get even better in the time he will have to recover from his shambolic 2019 antics.


He did need to get some rounds in since Cowboy faltered to his greatest test yet. The media reaction Conor won't care to hear negative or not but ring rust will be even more of a thing now along with not truly being tested. So his next fight will have to be chosen just as carefully and we still do not know how he will perform if he does not get his early finishes.


McGregors entrance is unrivalled by the way. Having seen it live once I can assure everyone it is just something else when his time to enter, commences.

Fight tonight is more hyped than it deserves.

Yoel Romero is amazing but somehow the UFC hype machine adds more hype to him than deserved. Yes it is amazing that he fights at this level at 42 (despite being juiced to the gills) and that he has fought mostly high level fighters as of recent but Adesanya is well and truly better.

Yoel will face problems if Adesanya can keep him at a distance and the former's gas tank is very questionable. I do feel Izzy's chin is weaker than the record states and he can be knocked out especially if he is backed against the cage of his left side is nullified.

I am rooting for Yoel and while it won't be a disappointment like Whitaker v Adesanya I do see Adesanya winning convincingly.


Always did want the Costa v Adesanya fight anyhow.

Was a brilliant fight and most definitely warrants a rematch.

We got a Dane coming up in a couple fights. Olympic silver medalist and a crazy wrestler. Doesn't have much else going for him though. Can't wait to see if he keeps climbing the rankings.
