Mbappe, Augero, Icardi scoring goals, with Messi, Neymar, Di Maria assisting, lol, the deadliest attacking squad ever?

10 weeks out injured Laughing

Dunno what to say tbh. If he wants to leave because Messi is gone, where on earth does he think he is going?

Who would take him at this stage?

Is he actually injured? I thought he was getting a stem cell cartilage rebuilding surgery?

Anyways only china/gulf clubs would take him now

So in the meantime it looks like front 3 of Braithwaite, Depay, Griezmann or so... Griezmann dropping deep a lot and Dest pushing up a lot, hopefully the they can become something effective on the right, something we havent had for too long Razz

Out for 10 weeks.

braithwaite is linked with a move away from the club

Better give chances to youngsters, Yusuf Demir etc

Actually demir has been the biggest surprise of this preseason imo, he's a proper baller with very messi-esque movements.

re: braithwaite

Barça and West Ham have reached a preliminary agreement for the transfer of Martin Braithwaite, but the Danish international has asked for some time to make his decision. Braithwaite is on the list of candidates to replace Kane at Tottenham if needed. [sport]

I actually liked him for Denmark in Euro. In fact, I was surprised to see him play so well for them.

Shit like this combined with an aging spine is why Barca have been humiliated over the years.

Imagine losing Aguero too to a long term injury/illness... such rotten luck we have had with key players for so long. Doubt it since it seems still a relatively common n not that serious thing? But if so we would have to do with Depay up front? When is Braithwaite coming back, having to consider him lol...

Kun is probably contemplating retiring now. Heart conditions are no joke, and there's no point in risking health for this sorry ass team.

So we will be left without a striker once again

^^to my surprise NBA player LeMarcus Aldrigde returned this season after retiring with a similar condition last season. Maybe his was less severe or he got a surgery or whatever. But i tend to agree it's way too risky to continue with a high intensity sport if you have a heart condition.

When it rains is pours. This is exactly why Koeman's rubbish about "when players return..." never worked with me. When someone comes back, another wil be out, especially at this club where clearly something is wrong for so many injuries. My guess is they simply aren't being worked hard enough and therefore the intensity of matches takes them to limits they aren't conditioned for.

Obviously not the same issue here with Aguero.

Wow, we just have amazing bad luck still with injuries, these are so rare heart conditions that rule out a footballer? And it so happens with Aguero after all these months waiting for him to play, geez.... so then it is Braithwaite we believe, oh dear lol... kiss goodbye to top4 or Europe, might see ourselves in Conference League if we even make that shit loool...

Everything seems to be going wrong this season. Such rotten luck with injuries. Pedri, Aguero, Dembele, Fati (reinjured), Araujo. Crazy bad luck or maybe something deeper as dani alluded to.

Must’ve been some kind of congenital defect related to cardiac hypertrophy is my guess. Sad but very smart move. Soccer players among other athletes have significantly enlarged hearts. Depending on the person that can be fatal. If he noticed arrhythmias and palpitations, good on him throwing in the towel.
