Nothing too surprising from a LFC perspective tonight. We just cannot outplay a 5-3-2 for our dear life regardless whether its Villa, Chelsea or Inter. We just control the defense and hope to score, hit the post 3 times damn.

Cracker of a goal from Lautaro something Inter deserved over two legs.

Also has to be one of the worst refereeing performance I have seen in a CL since the CL Barca scandal. It seemed like he was watching the game rather than refereeing it.

This ref has been a joke forever n yet hes still at it after all these yrs wtf, lol.... a real shame Sanchez he won that ball n basically couldnt have done much to avoid Fabinho who came in afterwards in front of him, just pure bad luck. Otherwise it would have been a cracking finish to the game with Inter momentum... too bad...

LFC should have killed it though, they been better for most of the game. Funny watching Lautero bouncing off Van Dijk all game though couldnt do anything apart from that goal where he was away from him

Ref was abysmal if i'm being honest, supposedly he's the S ranked ref in Spain? No wonder that league is controversial.

Van Dijk's first home loss as a starter as well, don't think i have Liverpool touted for the CL after last night, could finally be City's year

Never a yellow, hot the ball cleanly before touching Fabinho. Not even a foul, but you could give it for "dangerous play", but without the card.

Not that Inter would have scored a second, but that killed the game.

Sanchez's first yellow should have been a red you could argue. Lahoz was all over the place. Hardly called fouls in the first half, called anything and everything fouls in the second half, and didn't call ANY foul on Salah.

Inter is on a roll though. Smashed Saliertiana, beat Liverpool away with 10 men, Lautaro back on form. Will easily walk the league now.

Got away in that match by the skin of our teeth. Did not expect Inzaghi's men to put up such a performance in these two legs as 2-1 aside they were mostly the better team.

Lautaro got in form a bit too late otherwise may have buried LFC in the first leg and Sanchez who is so past it screwed us over thankfully.

Lahoz is notoriously bad and just isnt fit for any job in officiating so no surprise.


Inter looked really good and will be riding off the coattails of dominating LFC in that regard:

I'd say we have the toughest last stretch out of all the teams, which is why its necessary to pick up points in the next couple of games.

Personally I've never been a Skrtel fan , Liverpool became Liverpool after Liverpool changed him for better defenders, and Skriniar is a top player who deserves to play in a club that fight for CL victory ( of course I hope not, because we 'll never be this under Suning). Honestly big clubs should have noticed him, after he played a great CL campagn  against Real Madrid and Liverpool. He loves Inter but in the football this may not be enough

Genuinely I believe Milan will win the league , inertia is from their side after they've won the two matches clou. And Inter risks to lose ground in last 3 matches. And it might be decisive. We don't know the targets of those clubs in last 5 games.
It 's my sincere prediction, that of course I hope to be wrong as Inter fan, but every "negative " prediction 's mistaken as reverse jinx  here

Such a poor decision on the yellow. The game would have been a lot more interesting in the last 30 min if this did not happen. So there is no way VAR can intervene unless the referee permits/ask to do so?

Second home loss in CL after AM during the title winning year, the unbeaten run continues in the PL since he has joined.

VAR can intervene only for straight red cards. I think there was talk about using it for second yellows too, but I don't know if something will come out of it. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, the call was correct. The attempt was reckless and endangered the safety of an opponent and Sanchez doesn't have the excuse that he didn't see him. Easy yellow

Anyway, it's funny that Inzaghi has a habit of replacing carded players because he's scared of them getting the second, and the one time he doesn't do it, it bites him in the ass.

Skrtel is a legend since he was the only CB to stick with us through our shit years and scored massive goals. Overrated for sure but at the time he was the best we put out. In the VAR era, he would not be a footballer lmao
