all things considered. anyone else surprised that kounde walked in to the team and straight up said he is not playing RB? i didnt think players were allowed to say that. you play where you play. now they are scrambling for a RB and may not be able to register anyone else.

Xavi said he will make Kounde-Araujo the best CB pairing so it was the coach who kinda promised him that he won't play RB lol
it would be a travesty to use him as RB anyway, same with Araujo - they're both clearly built for the central defensive positions

Good result in the end against La Real but not a convincing display. This team has too many weaknesses.

early days man
ideally we still make 3 signings until window closes, LB + RB + Bernardo/Frenkie "swap"
the first half was pretty chaotic, but once the players settle and start clicking it looks quite promising
also neither of Christensen and Garcia should be starters tbh, we will look better in defense with Kounde in and the new fullbacks, potentially

Looks like you guys will possibly get Youcef Atal. He will tear la liga up. Very talented fullback with the ball and a very good technician as well. He’s literally played striker and winger and preformed great there. He just gets injured.. but Ligue 1 is crude and harsh on technical players.. way too physical.
