Silo || Apple TV

Loving it so far. Getting better and better with each episode. Tempted to read the books but the show looks detailed enough. Way too many questions right now.
I am guessing that the outside really isn't the point of the story and it's mainly going to focus on life within the Silo. Politics etc. I won't be surprised if we don't see any of the outside till like season 3

been watching along weekly, way too slow IMO, despite me being intrigued by the world/setting, guess it's just intended to be a slow burn

Yup, definitely a slow burn. I think they are trying their best to build the world as detailed as possible. Which is why I think 'outside' isn't going to matter much until later seasons.

Fully caught up. Competes with Beef for best show of the year imo. Didn't feel like a slow burn at all on the binge.

Absolutely
Best show going right now. Last few episodes have been incredible.

Also what do you guys think is actually real? Is the view from the inside just CGI where it shows people dying? Or do the masks have poisons in them?

- I would love it if it was CGI, since we would get the sheriff and his wife back, but I think it's just poison.
Also, I thought it might've gone downhill after the first few episodes where they got rid of some of the best characters/actors, but I'm glad I was wrong.

Fantastic debut season. Excited to see where it goes next. Hope season 2 isn't too far behind.
In my mind apple is rapidly overtaking HBO in the prestige TV category .

The display was always a lie but not the cafeteria one lol
So we can assume there are hundreds of silos? The big door underground definitely links to other silos right?
I think jules either goes to another silo and return back to silo 18 via underground tunnel or she just walks back in and the mayor lets her in because she knows too much?
Can't wait for season 2

- where are Holsten and his wife's bodies though from the POV of outside? the bodies only show on the cafeteria display, but when Jules was outside i couldn't spot the bodies from the 3rd person view camera

The place jules put the badge was actually Holsten's body. So they are really dead as much as I was hoping they'd be alive.

- You're misunderstanding, RG. I know the visor display is a hologram, i meant the 3rd person camera from outside that show the reality of the outside world, i couldn't spot the bodies during that POV
