Saunders is terrible, i hate him as our number 1 keeper.
Allocation money which was used to resign Sean Franklin and some other players.

Better tonight. We played a lot better. Still have a lot of work to do especially with Saunders. But it is looking better. Glad to see Donovan finally get on the score sheet and Beck's goal was really fantastic.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
David Lopes is a lot better than I thought he was going to be although it is only one game.
Meyer also looked a lot better with Lopes than he ever did with Delagarza.
Leanardo has resumed training as well.
I won't mind seeing Lopes and Leanardo playing CB together until OG gets back and having Delagarza on the bench where he should be.
LD also looked a lot better on the left with Keane above him and Franklin looked much better with Magee. I hope LD stays on the left.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
I'd keep De La Garza on the left side and play Leonardo and Lopes at the CB spots with Franklin on the right.
Dunivant and Meyer are gonna get their spots though.

Fantastic goal from Beckham against the Timbers.
First touch said everything about what he was going to do. No stopping a shot when it's placed like that.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
Well it's our first win away from. Gotta hand it to Saunders this time. He erased that ludacris Penalty. MOTM.
2 in a row now. Looks like Galaxy's back, AJ De La Garza's back, and I'm happy.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
What a time not to have a 3rd DP spot open. Nesta leaves Milan and is considering moving to MLS. Could have been a perfect fit

Anyway, Leonardo played 45' with our reserve team and also Perk played a full 90'. Leonardo should be activated from the disabled list soon.

Leonardo activated from the DL, is available for the game versus Chivas. Boyens to the DL, sports hernia out 4-6 weeks

The loss versus San Jose was kinda shocking. Jimenez also got a one game suspension.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
A few injuries to update
LA Galaxy forward Edson Buddle and midfielder Dan Keat have each undergone successful right knee surgeries and are expected to miss the next 3-6 weeks. On Monday, Buddle underwent a meniscectomy on his right knee to repair damage done to his meniscus. Keat underwent the same procedure, also on his right knee, on Thursday, May 31. Both procedures were performed by Galaxy Club Physician, Dr. Bert Mandelbaum, in Santa Monica, Calif.
Buddle is tied for second on the club with two goals this season, scoring in the regular season opener against Real Salt Lake and in the 2-1 loss at Houston on May 26, while adding one assist. He has appeared in 12 of the club’s 13 regular season games, making eight starts.
Keat has played in two games for the Galaxy this season, starting and playing the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw at Montreal on May 12 for his only league appearance of the season while also coming on in the second half of the second leg of LA’s CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinal against Toronto FC on March 14.
Additionally, on Monday, Galaxy defender Leonardo underwent an MRI which showed no structural damage in his right knee, which he injured in Saturday night’s Reserve League win in Portland. Making his second Reserve League appearance of the year, Leonardo was forced to leave that game in the 10th minute, seven minutes after putting the Galaxy in front 1-0. The Brazilian defender, who also played the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 loss at Carolina in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on May 29, is listed on the club’s current injury report as questionable with inflammation in his right knee. There is no immediate timetable for his return to full training.

Re: The Los Angeles Galaxy Thread
So we finally mange to string 3 wins in a row.
Hopefully now we don't slip for the rest of the season. And it looks like all DJ Lopes needed was continuity to get his gear running.
