defensive tactics are not bad.. they are just a different way of winning the game.. some teams pride themselves on playing offensive by developing these tactics traditionally but others like inter pride themselves on catenaccio, defensive solidity to be able to win the game.. ultimately you have to win which both tactics if used well provide

I however see a difficulty in the dressing room based on the treatment of Gasperini. There are two possibilities here:

Either the players attempted to fulfil his tactics to the best of their collective abilities, or,

He was not able to sell his philosophy to them, which supposes a certain amount of mutiny was involved by the leaders in the dressing room.

If the latter is the case, then there is a long road rocky road ahead for Inter.
