It would be great if we can pull a win and Tottenham can drop points, that would put us in a good spot to pull for third. Esp if Chelsea win (which I expect them to).

Trip to Liverpool will be tough. They will be buoyed by Carling cup win, though it has also had negative effects on teams in recent years (Spurs, Birmingham)

I'm gonna make a wild prediction that Chelsea will lose, and fans will start calling for AVB's head again.

West Brom did just stick four past the league's most in-form side, so one would hope they'd be well up for the Chelsea game and should be able to cause them some problems.

West Brom are a very good side, can easily see them upsetting Chelsea.

After seeing those fixtures iam confident again, as we will certainly smash the scum ( unless Pardew still has head stuck up his ass)

It will be back to 1 point between us and 4th again :coffee:

The image I posted got deleted so I'll use this edit to complain about the Farfan/Podolski thing Schalke are up to in Sam's post under mine. Boo. We don't need him at all. But Podolski...

Schalke to let Jefferson Farfan leave on a free, and use wages to double Koln striker Lukas Podolski's salary.

Won't be on here for the LFC vs Arse game. Whoever wins this will get the fourth spot imo.

A draw for LFC is a positive result for Arsenal. Can't see Chelsea clinching the fourth spot if they continue to play how they've played in recent weeks. (Well, bar the Bolton game.)

Steven Gerrard is reportedly 'doubtful' for Arsenal's tie with Liverpool this Saturday, due to a tweak in his hamstring. hmm

Liverpool face an anxious wait to discover the extent of Steven Gerrard’s injury he picked up on England duty, while Daniel Agger has definitely been ruled out of Saturday’s clash against Arsenal.

I thought you guys are 7 points adrift with a game in hand, apart from the match this weekend which could go either way really. Wanna explain why you think you are in with the least chance?

Sarcasm most likely, I failed to take into account the two games yet to be played. But my initial opinion stands.

The gooner in me thinks we'll finish third and chelsea/liverpool 4th.. Think I would prefer Chelsea there.. Spuds 6th sounds tempting but unlikely..

Realistically, its anybody's guess.. And I am not convinced of a four way battle for fourth.. Its more like us, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and Spuds for 3rd and 4th.. Lets see how things pan out..

We have the hardest secudle and would be lucky to get the 4th spot.

Sat, Mar 3----------------------------------------at Liverpool

Mon, Mar 12 at Home ---------------------------------Newcastle United

Sat, Mar 17 ------------------------------------------at Everton

Sat, Mar 24at Home -------------------------------------------Aston Villa

Sat, Mar 31 ------------------at Queens Park Rangers

Sat, Apr 7at Home -------------------------------------Manchester City

if we can get 12- 14 points here we could even take 3erd place. If we beat Liverpool I am sure Newcastle will fall.

Definitely tough fixtures, but definitely the type we have to get the most out of to grab 3rd.
