My personal opinion is that he did in fact have nothing to do with this as its our of character and through his recent topic on the off-topic section, it wouldn't be plausible.

I actually didn't sleep well at all and was generally depressed about it... not cool to play around with people's emotions. We're a community here and, regardless of whether we agree or not, we will of course feel sad if someone had something bad happen to them.

Make this a life lesson Marta. Pretty cheap one since this is the internet... but think of consequences next time.

I suggest we ban nobody and grant a general pardon to all those that have been banned before just to be equitable.

I exchanged some PMs with I-No (and believe me, I was very much not amused about the emotional shock this fake death message pulled me through). From what I gathered he really didn't know and I-No just used the time of him being away for 3 or 4 days to conduct her "experiment" (which she apparently did on behalf of a friend of hers who studies psychology) without either his knowledge or consent. I think babun will not be amused either when he has to deal with the fallout once he returns.

So absolutely pathetic...I am never ever trusting anyone on the Internet forum again!

Experiment? to get our reactions over someone's "death" how the eff did you think we would react? we're not robots! Of course this would affect a lot of people and you had some people writing and paying their respects. i feel so stupid now. Playing with people's emotions! Death is a serious matter!

Easy peeps. It was a mistake... a very stupid & inconsiderate one granted. But most everyone here are kids and kids will be kids at times (= making bad decisions without understanding the consequences). It's not like Marta has a history of being like this. It's a single event. She actually seems like a very solid person. She contributes a ton to these boards.

If Bill, Crimson or I did something like this, we should be crucified. We're older and should know better.

Forgiveness is the hardest thing to do... but always the choice that is the most beneficial to everyone. Try it here. It will probably make you feel better.
