If Gerrard doesn't start, Liverpool will depend solely on Suarez brilliance in attack. Liverpool game this season has been all "give the ball to Suarez and wait for him to make something out of nothing", while Adam, Downing, Lucas and Henderson could easily lose midfield batle against United.

But if one thing Kenny can do, it is to motivate his team for derby, so anything can happen.

I find it interesting people talk about Lucas, Adam, Downing, and HENDERSON losing a battle against United. Considering we don't generally play a four man midfield nor do many expect Henderson to start it seems an odd argument to make. Even further so given that United's midfield hasn't been spectacular this season either... at least not in the central areas in a "battling" sense...

How can Liverpool win games without Suarez's spark? Downing-Caroll idea is too predictable, and haven't worked so far. Adam is average player at the best and not Liverpool material, same goes for above mentioned Downing. Henderson, maybe he should be given time, but he didn't do nothing so far to justify his price tag.

It took Nani 3 2.5 years to start justifying the price he was bought for. :facepalm:
