Which team is gonna come out victorious?
Re: Liverpool v Man United
im calling a draw.
liverpool would be better off without Carroll starting too. Im not just talking this game either.

Say Nani if youre stuck in 2009, but we dont have any divers in our side
Suarez is a world renowned cheat
LOL so Nani dosent dive since 2009?
Nani has a serious history of diving against Liverpool TBF.

Can't see past Liverpool for this one.
Suarez will have a field day with United's backline.

Probably another tackle like this
I remember when we saw Nani rolling around after the tackle, everyone in the matchday thread thought it was a dive xD

^ or maybe he just remembers how Suarez embarrassed world class players like Rafael and Smalling last time around For those saying draw, Pool n UNited haven't drawn in the league for like 5-6 years be it at OT or Anfield

Is Howard Webb the ref? That's the only thing this game depends on......If he is they win, if he isn't we win.

Nope, its Andre Marriner...Webb is doing the Arsenal-Sunderland game.

How can Liverpool win games without Suarez's spark? Downing-Caroll idea is too predictable, and haven't worked so far. Adam is average player at the best and not Liverpool material, same goes for above mentioned Downing. Henderson, maybe he should be given time, but he didn't do nothing so far to justify his price tag.
Adam has created or scored 40% Liverpool goals so far this season. So ya he is Liverpool material.
As for him struggling against United he played them of the park with a Blackpool team only for their defense to let them come back.So if he can dominate United midfield with Blackpool he can more than do it when playing along with Gerrard and Lucas

Yea Adam is such an average player.
Cleverly and Jones on the other hand with their 20 professional starts combined are WC.

Re: Liverpool v Man United
th thing I find weird is, people seem to act that we've had a poor start to the season....what did they expect..all new players gell without playing games ?!
13 points from 7 games including 4 away games at Arsenal, Spurs, Stoke, and Everton. Bar that debacle at WHL, I think we've been deserving of winning all other games only to be denied by horrible refereeing vs Sunderland and missing ***** load of sitters at Stoke.

Re: Liverpool v Man United
I think we have made a pretty good start for this season for a team aiming for top 4 imo.
Our target for this season should be 2 points a game on average which would give 76 points on points.
So to get 13 points from 7 games from the hardest set of fixtures to anyone in the league to start with is an excellent return.I dont know how anyone would say this as poor result.

Always at ur deluded best arent u?
I would love u to provide me the links for the PL game u have played against City this season?
Yes we have faced more tough fixures than u.We played 4 of the 7 tough away fixtures in the league already in Spurs Everton Arsenal and Stoke.the same set of awy fixtures where u managed to win just one game last season which is stoke. The same game which u have already drawn. The same set of away fixtures which City and Chelsea failed to win a single game last season.
Oh i forgot u believe George Best is as great as Pele and Maradona isnt he?

Re: Liverpool v Man United
Why do Liverpool fans live off 1 game like its an historic moment?
WE WON 3-0!!! WE OWN AND EMBARASS YOU!!!.... finish 6th n the league
Same boast 12 months earlier... finish 7th.
Look, I realise this is your cup final, I mean you get to play a genuine CL calibre team this year, but perspective is needed.
Rivalries always mean more to the lesser team.
We understand this, we experience it all the time. V Fulham away, Everton away, v Liverpool ..the lesser teams always raise their game when the big boys come knocking
They all get in early before kickoff, wave their little flags. Get on their tiny feet and raise their hoarse voices so the Sky cameras can see them in their full glory
oooh how exciting.
Utd are record EPL champions. That is achieved by long term views, not short sighted 1 offs that get you through the long, cold, league title-less nights.
Well use this as a stepping stone to the title showdown v City, the real grudge derby of Englands finest

Re: Liverpool v Man United
Where have I said weve already played City? wtf?
in our opening 10 games, well have faced every team in EPL that have qualified for Europe kid. were facing the elite.
live in your little bubble, we were handed a nightmare start yet were cruising along as if its a walk in the park.
Thats why were champions

So u use teams fu havent even played as an argument for the start we have had so far this season
I see typical nonsense arguments
Anyway i am not interested to feed the trolls.

Jesus, are you pretending to be slow?
So 1 game in, I cant claim Utd have a tough start because we havent played them yet?

They have no European commitments and they still drew v S'land at home, got their asses handed to them by Spurs and got beat by Stoke. They needed a red card in order to get the better of an Arsenal team we put 8 past the following week and was given the most dodgiest advantage for that utter ridiculous red card in the merseyside derby.....made by that cheating c*** Suarez.
We have faced Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Stoke away mainly with a bunch young players and so many of the starting 11 that played the CL final missing, yet are sitting in top of the league.
We get Vidic, smalling and Cleverley back for this match and we'll win it.

I went for a draw, but would like liverpool to win them. I would even like Liverpool to win the league, but that seems way far off probability.
