Barca was just an example because they sort of need a RW. The facepalm was because of us signing Bale for similar logic and it could possibly happen again. hmm

I don't think Bale in terms of achievements or in terms of performance compares to any of the "phenomenoms" e.g. Ronaldo1, Del Piero, Ronaldo2, Messi, Ronaldinho, Van Basten just to name a few. He is a very good young player.

The Onze d'Or (alternative name: Onze Mondial European Footballer of the Year) is a football award handed out by French magazine Onze Mondial at the end of the year since 1976. I can't see it tbh, he's being deployed on the wing he's always been relatively easy to deal with as a winger.

Its when he was deployed as an SS in a free role when he started to wreak havoc and he'll never play that role for Madrid.

He'll do well most likely but eat defenders for breakfast from that position? i doubt it.

hes too young and has too much invested in him to be another kaka

I think he'll adapt eventually and play to his standards again but I doubt he will ever perform like a "100m player"
