I find that logic pretty stupid as well. As an overall player Ronaldo has lost his quality quite a bit. As a pure Goal-Scorer he is probably better, scores more, scores in crunch moments. But he has a team & a coach playing for him.

You cant compare Chalk & Cheeks. Ronaldo won B'Dor with Manchester United & he was a Far Better All-Round player, pacier with better dribbling skills in United. From that he has gone worse.

Just that he has become a monster goal-scoring wise, huge improvement maybe.

Ronaldo was a better player in epl, he won world player of the year but scored fewer goals in 6 years and played more matches.

In La-Liga he never gets injured, they lack defence, no hard tacklers, and their defence is generally weak, that's the reason why he score so many goals, it has nothing to do with him being a better goal-scorer now, he's scoring goals and look like a better goal scorer because he's playing in a league whereby defence lack.

When was the last time you saw a match in any other league with 5:4, absolutely nowhere.

If Ronaldo plays in EPL, Seria A, or Bundesliga there is no way in a million years he can score so many goals, first of all they have hard tacklers in all those leagues and he'll definitely get injured and 2nd of all no one will allow him score so many goals, because in La-liga defence is lacking. I mean look at Falcao...? He's scoring for breakfast in a league whereby defence lack and now everyone think he's the best thing after slice bread, meanwhile during his time in Porto with the likes of Hulk were rated higher than him, even Lisandro Lopez.

Cristiano is better today. No doubt. He might have a shit game yesterday but he is a monster infront of goal.

At United all he did was use stepovers to keep donkey defenders like Dunne and Huth at bay and beat them with pace.

And he was a big flop international wise while now he saves his team alot with runs and goals.Hes just much more effective.

Hopefully Marco Van Ginkel-Clasie will be the Holding Medio which will mark the start of a new generation.

The Van Ginkel-Clasie-Strootman medio trio dominating world football. BMI is good. I think those 3 have the potential to be World Class, maybe Krul. So there's some talents in there.

Not really a revolution like in Germany with Ozil,Muller,Kroos,Reus,Goetze,Schurle,Draxler,Holtby,Gundogan & so on.

I dont rate Maher too high or De Vrij or Willems for that matter. IMO they wont make it.

2 - If we had converted 6-7 Clear Cut chances you would have been Embarassed. You could not control possession & you got played off the park

3 - Ronaldo's goal was offside. Ronaldo's other goal was a PK. And as for the ozil Tap in, great pass but after that he f***ed up a simple 1 on 1 against Neuer. Add to that his 12-13 FK's over the bar of into Neuer's hands or him getting out-tackled by lahm/alaba 9 in out of 10 times & having 5-6 bad shots shows he did not have an out-standing game.

He scored a PK & an Offside Goal which hid his other-wise non-impressive show. Heck even Benzema ran & played quite well,did a lot of dirty work, but had 0 goals & people will call him a flop.

2) Over the two legs we had more shots on target than you guys, so don't see where you get that "clear-cut" chances from

3) Ribery's goal was more offside than Ronaldo's, Alaba was standing in an offside position interfering with play I.e OFFSIDE, Anybody misses 1v1's thats normal, probably not for Bayern because their players don't get many chances but Ronaldo scores 50 goals a season he is bound to miss some

4) Gustavo should never have been on the field, the guy is a thug

5) Ronaldo had a brilliant game, in the second he was tired after the 2-0 understandable because we played a more important game in the league which drained him, but in the first game he was great
