Yeah, a player who scored 60 goals in one season doesn't stand a chance against Messi. Shocked

Ribery might have a chance if France win Euros and Bayern win CL..Although both happening is not a huge possibility.

Agreed Messi will win it at the end as i see CR flopping in the Euros like he did at WC 2010.

Laughing Messi broke almost every scoring record there was, three trophies, fourth still possible.

If you take Cronaldo's goals and assists off, Madrid would have still won La Liga, if you take Messi's goals and assists away Barca would be in Europa league. So Messi was better and more decisive in La Liga also.

Is it a very strange thought to think neither will win it? I have this feeling a player will completely OWN at the Euros, and he will get the Ballon D'or. Might be Cristiano tbh.

But don't forget that Barcelona have kind of lost their flair and sympathy with the people this year. They are no longer the mythical, invincible Barca, plus Messi's consecutive wins have been kind of getting boring to people.

This season, he hasn't managed to improve himself in comparison to previous seasons (albeit he scored more, I know), so I doubt he will get it again tbh. Especially since he won't have a chance for heroics in the Euros.
