I thought Spanish experts and the media said Llorente is not preferred by VDB because Spain doesnt need a physical striker and because his passing abilities
are not good enough to play in a tika-taka style of play...Then VDB plays Negredo whom is worse than Llorente at pretty much everything...Also doesnt he remember how good Llorente played in the WC against Portugal???Stupid decision to be honest.

Ronaldo anonymous for the majority of the match, especially after the first 45 minutes where he rarely got involved and perhaps missed Portugal's best chance and didn't even hit the target. Tonight, he didn't do his chances of winning Ballon d'Or any favours with this performance.

Ramos.

Spain played way better towards the end of normal time and in extra time. Pedro and Navas definitely made a difference. Spain don't really need all those midfielders. Also Alba did well bombing down the left flank all game. Overall Spain deserve it.

he was average by his standards.. but it doesnt help that he does absolutely nothing to get open for a pass. he wasnt terrible and it wasnt really his fault portugal lost

Without a doubt worst game of the tournament. Only 1 real chance in the game and that was by Spain in the last minute of the first over time. Im sorry that Spain got through but Portugal didnt deserve to win it. I thought that Ramos will do what he did in the final of the CL but he chose to be like Pirlo and not like Alves on the other side.

i like the whole game. i thought portugal played some gutsy football and not just defending at the back. like italy croatia , portugal test them. that last minutes when portugal broke counterattack with 4 players with meireles passing to cristina he should have buried that.
