You're just pushing it. There's no need to do that, support the lad for once.

Song is not awful lol.

He's a very good player who could do the Busquets or Xavi role very well if you chose to rest them or they were injured.

He's miles better than Keita, so buying Song and Alba has improved Barca no doubt about it.

The issue is that a new CB still has not been bought but that isn't Song's fault.

He think he will do well at Barca personally.

I knew many EPL fans don watch la liga games but never knew its true for the opposite. saying song is awful, itself is awful. using him out of position can be awful but he is never an awful player for his position.

I do watch EPL often, I watch most of Tottenham's games though, which should speak for itself. I can admit I'm being harsh but I'm similar to JD when my emotions can get in the way of logic. He's still not that great though, I personally don't rate him much.

I read offer is on the table from Sevilla for JDS, and its just to JDS to decide. I say he should go on loan, he will never play in our midfield

Apparently David Luiz is heading to Barcelona for a transfer. The source is Daily Mirror.

He twitted : "Headed to Barcelona!!"

He was in Barcelona because of the Nike youth program called The Chance thats being held at La Masia ground I believe. He was helping host it

I really didn't think he was going to sign. I don't think we will sign anyone this summer transfer anymore...

- Ibrahim Affelay
- Isaac Cuenca

Can't see Cuenca doing much with us tbh, so a loan would be great for him... JDS will get limited time with us for sure with Song coming in...
Don't know with Afellay. If we can sell him for 10m then Im fine but anything less I really am reluctant.

No, no. We need Cuenca. He is an important player because he is very different to the rest of our wingers.

I'm ok with JDS, Afellay and Fontas leaving, but with such a big squad we have now, I don't see the point for a loan. They should be sold, with a buy back in the case of the youngsters.

i doubt anyone would be willing to pay 10m considering his performance with us....

I still feel a centre-back should have been purchased in this summer transfer window. There is no better asset to have than Javi Martinez. Tactically adept, played mostly at centre-back last season and was phenomenal, brings about versatility, and is a world class player easily. He is so comfortable taking the ball out of the back and has great technique. I don't believe, for one second, that he would join Bayern Munich. Saying that though, Song is a beast (literally) at the heart of defence.

Disappointed about the fallout with Ibi's injury but I knew it last fall, he was destined to be shown the door - shame really, he has the quality to be a factor with this team...Just shitty timing with the injury

Cuenca being loaned out though?...That has to be an error, no reason at all to loan the kid out...When is his expected return?...November?

Rather keep Cuenca then Sanchez.. to be honest

He adds another dimension. Width. I know though how much game time do you really think he is going to get. With Neymar and Duef on the border, how much more game time will he get. He mostly will be a super sub providing width for us. I can't see him do any thing more...

Surarez or even Aguero. Surarez would have been cheaper and his agent was Pere Guardiola who was Pep's brother. Would have been great!

Neymar...I don't think he will succeed in neither Barcelona or Madrid. Teams can't afford to have more than one player with free roles. Barça already have that in Messi. Neymar is best when he has that free role, can change position and roam around the pitch whenever he wants. He is not the type of player that you put on the flank and ask him to pressure the opponent and track back.

fully agree......He loves to play with freedom and likes to take long shots from outside the box. he is not a typical wing type player. He loves play with spaces in the middle and dribble past players which exactly what Messi is doing now. It is difficult to integrate him with Messi.

Deulofeu or neymar are not at the 1st team. Cuenca can bé very useful now, well talk about if he has place when we have those players.
