Real Madrid are better right now. However Barca haven't been at their best for some time now.

Thats not a good way to judge teams.If thats how it works then Chelsea>Madrid=Bayern>Barca

LOL so how should we judge them? Over 38 games Madrid were superior, they just played over two legs and Madrid were better. What should I use to judge? Enlighten me.

I'm reserving judgement til they play Man City or actually play a tough team in the CL knockouts, playing against Barca & being beaten all the time obviously was bound to result in them getting pay back eventually.

I think it was quite even, Barca were much better in the first game. Madrid were much better in the 1st half of the second, the 2nd half of the second was quite even with Barca controlling much of the play but obviously leaving the other end open as they have one less player.
It ended 4-4 you know?
Anyway, last season Madrid are more consistent in the league. They were the best team in La Liga. That is it.
Why the need to obsess about imaginary titles I dont know.

I for one do thing Real is the most dangerous team in the world. I would not want to face them in a knockout scenario, so here is to me thinking we will avoid them in Copa. Last year, we nearly beat them but Ronaldo just happened to rape us singlehandendly. And now, with Modric, they have strengthened quite considerably. I think most teams have learned how to play against Barca, their over-reliance in Messi will someday be their undoing.
However, I still think Arbeola is a big liability. They should have replaced him, but I guess no other RB really stands out as replacement.

This thread....I've been sayin' RM > Barca for 1 year and a half. Heck, since 2010, Barca weren't even the best team in the world.
RM have been the best since 2011.
Inter reached the top in 2010.
Barca were the best in 2009 and still needed luck to obtain the CL.

so... you've been saying madrid > barcelona since 2011, when barcelona directly beat madrid to not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR *bleep* trophies?
last season madrid were marginally the better team, but even then their record against barcelona is inferior, they won the league through not dropping as many points against the fodder and most recently a valdes slip was the only thing between them, so i'd say they're just about equal as it stands, we'll see during the season
