Do People on here still believe Barcelona are better than Madrid?

If Dortmund didn't deliberately get themselves kicked out of Europe 2 years in a role, then please someone explain to me how teams like Marseilles and Olympiacos managed to make CPL and Europa With Dortmund being last in the group.

I for one am looking forward to the CL clashes Dortmund vs Real and vice versa. Now these will hopefully be very interesting, too.

In order to compete as the best team in the world, you must first start from you goalkeeper, is top 10 in the world and obviously Valdes is not

Valdes was never a top 10 goalie for me but that didn't stop Barca from being the best in the past few years.

You say Barca is not the best in the world right now? Fine by me. I still think we would beat Madrid at least 6/10 regardless of players having off days.

But let's not speculate... October is not far away. It's a league game and both teams should be more ready

Reason for that was they great suffering of top teams like Bayern/Milan/Madrid/Juventus/Arsenal/Liverpool for a period between 2006-10 and Barcelona were at their peak and at their big fat cake, with only United there to eat some left over of it.

Now with Bayern/Madrid/Juventus/ back, emergence of Dortmund, City and Chelsea let see Barcelona win anything with Valdez as goalie.


and if you think you can beat Madrid, well, that's just you thought and doesn't mean it's true, last time I checked Madrid beat you guys

2010-11 they got kicked out Europa league Group stage as early as November.

2011-12 they got kicked out of Cpl and didn't bother to fight to make it to Europa league...again as early as November

I agree that the big teams were in a recess in the recent years but that doesn't take away anything from this Barca team. Nothing at all. They were and still are a very powerfull side and without a doubt one of the best in modern football. It doesn't take a scientist to see that.

As for your closing comment you just stated the same thing I did only supporting the other side. Last time I checked we played 2 games both being superior in one of them. If you think Madrid is better as a fact (when many Madrid fans don't believe it yet) have it your way. Let's see the October classico for more insight

Considering the fact that the CL is where the money is and that you get a lot more the further you go, any club would be silly not to try their best. I don't know if you have watch the Dortmund matches in the EL 2 years ago and the CL last year - they were outdone by their naivete and much cooler acting opponents. Mind you, the average age of Dortmund then was far below that of anyof their opponents! Now with two German championships under their belt and two years more experience, they will hopefully act much differently.

Dude your reasoning behind loosing from dortmund is pathetic to say the least. I mean you pretend to be the best team in the world and complain that you had more games and dortmund had less games. If you say you are the best, stop making such a lame excuses. Barca and RM are always competing in more games than Bayern did, all the time. If we go by your weird logic, then english teams are the best, but they have so many games and thats why they cant win them all.

Moreover, you contradict yourself constantly saying you were better than RM because you won over 2 legs on penalties, and totally disregard your loss to dortmund, which would mean they are better then you, and as consequence better than RM.

It's not true. Chelsea isn't better than Barca. but they defeated them in CL last year. it happens.

and if anyone tries to say Chelsea is better because they won then i must say a team who is better than Barca can't be raped by Atletico in a Final.

Very different circumstances. Chelsea beat Bayern and Barca, but it was clear for all to ser that Barca and Bayern were far better than them, hence why Chelsea had to park the bus. Also, the only time Bayern really got beat badly by Dortmund was after their CL final loss, so its safe to say they just didn't care anymore. And the most recent time they played, Bayern won. Now on topic, not only did Bayern beat Real on the scoreline (which as I explained before is not all that important), but they also outplayed Madrid, even at the Bernabeu. It was clear for all to see, Bayern were clearly the better team. Barca vs Real, I'm not sure about.
