I don't get it Suarez got 8 weeks and 40k fine, terry got 4 weeks and a 220k fine. Why is there such difference in the punishment, does the fine make up for the matches. The FA are so bloody retarded.

Pathetic and disgraceful decision. Appalled anyone can actually be comfortable with this verdict.
You can't ban someone who was found not guilty in the court of law. Where the hell is the justice in that?
Kangaroo court and a witchhunt from the very beginning.

Can see this ending up at the CAS. Arbitrators chosen by both sides, I'm pretty certain legal judgments usually take precedence there.

I think the fact he was already found not guilty makes this whole trial a farce. It should never have happened.

That policy would result in it being more worthwhile to have just enough evidence for civil court - if you get dismissed there, then you're off in total, but if there isn't enough evidence for it to be a legal issue, you can still be convicted by the FA. I agree with you, but think the FA would have to adopt a universal policy of burden of proof that's equal to the legal system in the process; otherwise, it would be worthwhile to be more guilty.

No surprise, even if he was only repeating what Anton was accusing him of saying you don't say crap like that on the football pitch or anywhere for that matter, no matter what the context. You should not be repeating back racist language, who the hell even does that? I don't know how he thought admiting it would somehow defuse the situation, what a prat. With the Kick It Out campaign in overdrive and calls from black playerss for action to be taken Terry was always going to be found guilty.
