I can't bring myself to write an essay on what's wrong with it.

But to sum up why it's unplayable.

No matter what you do, your line plays extremely high.

Pace is king, and requires no skill or timing to use

Controlling the game forces your back line to push up, leaving you even more vulnerable to being countered.

Parking the bus is too easy, and it also enables you to counter more efficiently.

In short, negative tactics compliment the easy tactics which further compliment more negative tactics. And leads to people who know how to play realistic FOOTBALL being embarrased by those who take advantage of the arcade elements of FIFA.

Lost to an unbelievable shit player because he was using Ronaldo. I destroyed him in every sense. Never played such a shit player in my life and he still won 1-0 because of Ronaldo and Casillas being undertaker's streak.

The game doesn't reward you for good play, it actually punishes you for not playing with a back 5 and hitting on the break.

That's beyond stupid, and if you take a close look at it, it's *bleep* true as well.

I barely play UT, took my shit team to Division 1 undefeated, even won the division undefeated. Since then I play £2,000,000 + teams with my budget team lmfao.

It's not about complexity, it's about people getting rewarded for playing anti-football. I've played quite a few of those complicated PC strategy type games, normally when a friend forces me to. But even when I get into them and rage, nothing compares to a FIFA rage for me.

The drop deeper bit is what I do when I play CB on clubs. However, because the other 3 defenders can't be controlled at the same time, it's risky because they can just put a ball over to where i'm not and then i'm in a 1 v 2 situation at the back.


Which is why If I can make our entire back line stay deep, along with myself, we could negate the OTT through ball pace abuse.

The only problem then is trying to stop the inevitable long shots. Not too hard if a CDM pressures the striker though.

As a rule, I simply don't take any of these FIFA games seriously in terms of game mechanics and what not. It's all just fun to me, as games should be. I still have some awesome online matches with random dudes and even some good matches offline as well.

Just playing my career game, with the Belgian national team. Beat Egypt in a friendly 10-1. On Legendary FFS. Lukaku scored 5.

Was an easy match where I could have scored more.

There should be a filter on all game modes whether you want to play in the rain/snow/etc or not.

Finally got to division 1 (and then won it in my first season cos I'm a boss like that   ).

Record is 61 wins 9 draws 2 losses and 1 of those losses wasn't even a legit loss  fricking EA servers.

Funny thing is my only proper defeat came in division 6  and for some reason I'm really bad with PSG, even though I love Ibra. Maybe because the CMs are trash or something.
