Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013 Pt.III
Why did I know someone was going to start that nonsense?
Nothing suggests that Moses is the next target for the "big" signing... just that he's an option being considered FOR DEPTH.

Victor Moses- 4 years experience in the Premier League, experience in Europe competition,International player, Honours-UEFA Europa League/Africa Cup of Nations, ave 8 goals a year, only 22, has power/pace/ work rate
or
Iago Aspas play out of position only had one year in top League, only had one year score 12 goals, unknown talent, age 26

Tbh, after sturridge I kind of fancy players from chelsea...I still remember how he used to play when he was at Wigan, he was good but I hope we still after someone like Eriksen. Someone who can make things happen though the middle. Moses aint a bad player at all and still young. I am not a big fan of big names anyways...i just feel that big names bring that flair, different mentality and little motivation to the team psychologically like 'we have suarez in our team'. It does make a little difference.

I've said it already, but since Moses rumours are appearing I'll say it again that I'd like him at LFC. Preferably a loan with an option to buy for, say, £10m.

So Art, if Moses comes in and he starts having a good time, you see him playing on the right wing. So meaning in long term, we will play suarez in the middle, cou on left and Moses on the right. Ya?

Moses to direct us fourth.
Honestly though, I've always liked him. Don't think he's been given a chance at Chelsea.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013 Pt.III
I haven't thought that far, only that we are a little short in personel. I don't think either Moses or Aspas have to be certain starters, so they could well be competing with each other and may the better or in-form player come out on top if that happens.HEIL MEIN REDS wrote:So Art, if Moses comes in and he starts having a good time, you see him playing on the right wing. But I've been thinking about Suarez's return anyway and the fact that I'd like to see Coutinho in the center and Rodgers has apparently said so himself. I believe all three, Sturridge, Suarez and Coutinho are at their best in central positions and this doesn't fit our current formations. So I got to thinking the following, although it might well be just a nice-on-paper day-dream:
It would leave quite a lot of room for changes via substitutes, bringing on Aspas, Henderson, Sterling, for example - and thus changing the formation quite completely - would be intriguing to see how the opposition would cope with such a different system all of a sudden. It's highly unlikely that we'll see anything like that, but in my mind that could be very strong both offensively and defensively.
Anyway, while I'm on this11.com, here's a formation I find more realistic to expect with Suarez back:
With Suarez, Sturridge and Coutinho roaming around those positions.
Or then Henderson will keep his place and it's RW (AspasMoses) who will be benched for Suarez, but that would probably mean Coutinho being mostly played at LW and I want him in the center.

Sturridge will be played in the centre.
Rodgers has said it 1,000 times.
Suarez will move either right or left wing.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2013 Pt.III
Is moses really a left midfielder?? most times i've seen him play, he plays on the left for chelsea and also predominantly plays on the left wing for Nigeria.
I would really like him in the squad, he is quick, strong, skillful and will have a great influence on the left wing. He can never go missing in a game, always looks to beat his man, and is a better and more mature version of sterling. Though i prefer a permanent signing to a loan. Hate developing other clubs' players.

Moses can play on either wing effectively. He is quite talented like that.

Mata isn't for sale FFS.
Mourinho said there is 0 chance of him leaving. Once he's fully fit he will play.
