According to PL's fantasy football stats, Assaidi got 77 minutes of playing time in the league last season. Should be interesting to see how he does now that he'll finally get some chances to play.

We must have someone lined up if we've let go of both Downing and Assaidi. It wouldn't make any other sense.

I'd be totally fine with that. Sakho sounds like he would solve our defensive frailties well, at 6'2 and 180 he'd be the physical presence we've been lacking in the backline, and a CB set of Agger, Sakho, Skrtel, Toure, Kelly and Wisdom seems both good and deep to me. With competition at both LB and RB now too, hopefully our defensive woes are in the past.

As for the Moses signing, I know that people are down on the lack of marquee signing, but I still think with Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge combining we'll have one of the best attacks around. The fourth spot doesn't need to be a top tier player for our goals this season, and Moses will give us strong depth and options in that slot depending on the system BR wants to play. If you think about it, we'll have Coutinho, Suarez, Sturridge, Moses, Aspas, Borini, Sterling and Ibe competing for those front three spots, with Hendo, Allen and Alberto being tossed into the mix when the attack is expanded to four. That's a good list of quality names right there, and I'm comfortable entering the season like that. If the other option is we overspend on someone BR doesn't want just to bring a "name" in, I'd much rather we take this route.

Agree with Ifti & Red . . . seems very likely that Sakho & Moses will be the last two to complete our Summer window. .

On a serious note. . My sources say that Messi & Ronaldo have shown interest in coming to us! So, has Iniesta but he does not fit in our system! & we are likely to put in a bid of 100m+ for Heskey which his representatives say is a little short but a 100m pounds+1pound will do!

Don't really know why we need Moses. Adds depth to the side, that's it. Should've kept Assaidi instead.

Nah glad Assaidi is gone. I don't want players taking squad positions if the manager doesn't trust them at all.
