Manchester United beat Spurs 1-0, while Chelsea drew 2-2 at home to Swansea and had Courtois sent off. None of United, Spurs or Chelsea looked particularly good. Early days, of course.

Liverpool play tomorrow, and City on Monday.

Too early to draw any conclusions but points dropped is points dropped. Yay.

I think it's best to judge in May after we have secured the PL

This is how we should have been playing yesterday - looking at City.

They played with width and their players had set roles to play. Keeping the ball was easy and they made opportunities.

It's really not as hard as we make it look.

Sunderland vs Norwich should be a good one, anything but a draw please!

Watford vs West Brom, think we made a mistake by loaning Gnabry to West Brom but I expect a Watford win anyway against Pulis' side.

Let's hope Liverpool do us a favour against Bournemouth, but they'll probably bottle it as usual.

At last we need to the job ourselves and get a point at Selhust Park against Pardew's highly intense Crystal Palace. It won't be easy but I believe in Mia San #Arsenal (:

Rondon to WBA, Shaqiri to Stoke, Kebab to Palace.

Depending on how much more these lower table teams keep upgrading/how much further we descend into shitehousery the Rival Watch thread could expand.

Pardew will *bleep* up eventually, Pulis is a moron and it's Stoke lol.

Don't have to worry about any of those players :coffee:

Legit afraid of facing Palace

They have arguably a superior attack than us.

Let's hope Big Pards does a favour and rest Bolasie. This mid table 6 pointer is a massive one

You better *bleep* beat them, i'm sick and tired of the wankfest.

Need Pardew to go on his patented 6+ game losing run imo.

I had to keep track of 8 teams when I started the top four countdown last season. Think I might have to deal with lesser teams for the Europa league countdown this year tbh hmm

Well, we are out of the relegation zone.

Thankfully fellow rivals Aston Villa and Watford didn't win.

Game against Liverpool isn't the one which matters for a club like us. Let's hope we get in top 10 and stay there. EL should be our target.

Maybe we'll nick an EL spot if we manage to keep our fouls/cards at a bare minimum and qualify via fair-play award? hmm
