Same old crap. We played like bloody Moyes' Man U today. About 40 aerial crosses put into either the vertically challenged Menez or the impotent Pazzini. There was no attempt to pass the ball through the Atalanta defence or to counter at speed. Awful.

Half season is concluded
Milano teams confirm their difficult moment concluding the first part of season both with 26 points
Sampdoria to +7 from both (and they've just signed Eto'o) and Fiorentina gains 2 points on both with a goal in 94' minute scored by Babacar
Officially Mario Gomez is the worst Fiorentina CF
Probably even a poor man's Bernardeschi.

Inter will probably get EL but not the way we played yesterday. Had we won yesterday we would still be talking about CL, but lets not cry over spilled milk..

Capable to play greatly a match , and shite ( as today) in that then. Similar to Guarin about it.

We could relaize Juve would have won again scudetto when they won against Napoli at Napoli in last matchday.
It is always very difficult to win at Napoli in big games (even Juve didn't win since 2000 ) , and they did it

oh I don't care about reverse jinx, simply I think they will win it again.

There is no need for RJ

Juventus are a cut above the rest in most departments. Pogba is absolutely majestic this season and Juventus' defence is one of the best in Europe.

Roma will keep them company till the end, but Juve should retain the Scudetto.

Next year, Inter will challenge them with Roma :coffee:

The majority of our games over the next few months will be at home (including the return fixture against Juve). Just need to play a consistent XI and stop making silly first half mistakes.

Not giving up on the scudetto yet, but we have to find a way to get out of our own way. Juve have given us so many chances and they'll probably continue to do so as well if that first half of the season was any indication.

Not exactly the toughest thing in the word to come into a club that is built to win titles and simply continue to steer them in that path. Any coach worth his salt can and would do what Allegri is doing now. He was already a legit coach in my eyes just based off what he did with that Milan side.

Completely agree. There really isn't any competition in the league atm, I don't think Roma have it in them.

I really don't want to agree with that, but I certainly have to. We just don't have the killer instinct consistently that Juve have and that is often born out of the innate and unique feeling of knowing that you're a champion and playing accordingly.

Juve are winning this race for 2 reasons currently: Quality and Confidence.

They have both in spades and Roma simply don't at the moment.

Tevez: "Right now my idea is to complete my contract and not renew, but I may change my mind. I don't want to bullshit Juve fans and tell them that I want to sign a new 5 year contract. But I'm well here, I'm happy, and enjoying this fantastic moment."

Come one bro, he came from Milan, has said a lot of things against Juve. The fans booed him and threw eggs at him during his arrival for his presentation. He took over a team which has won 3 scudetti in a row, team which was expected to win again and has just changed a club legend coach, don't tell me its easy or not that bad. He changed and improved our attacking game, changed the formation. I guess he is doing good, won in Naples, +5 from Roma, not an easy thing to do

Palacio - Tevez PLS .

This is same thought by my Juventini friends. Besides tbf most  juve fans are still cold about Allegri , it is not easy to replace Conte in their hearts.

Anyway the winning a scudetto in Roma is much more difficult than in Milano or Torino and for this reason Totti got a great achievement in 2001.

The pressure and the expecations existent in Roma tend always to curb and bottle the AS Roma, and I think it will be same thing even this year ( I don't wish you , I'd prefer Roma victory of course , but I'm not confident about it )

If Roma gets 2nd place even this year it will mean Roma has concluded Serie A in 2nd place
for  8 times in last 12 years, and this with  3 different contenders ( Milan , Inter, Juve) , different players, different coaches  ..everything different ,  but the 2nd place got by Roma is always a constant.

Probably it is a record, but surely it is not a case.

Anyway I think Serie A is not really bad for overall quality , you can find talents everywhere every year ( and even not in top clubs, I mean since Jovetic, Pastore to Dybala etc today .  ) , but it is bad for mentality of his clubs. I realize it when I compare him with other leagues   , and this is the main reason because Italian clubs play shit in Europe where even Juve has difficulties .
Italian teams have problems in Europe also because in Europe even the weakest team , even a Trabzonsopor is organized and it attacks you with no awe, in Italy a small team faces Juve and Roma with inferiority complexes already before of match  and with anxiety of result , it thinks just to suffer tightened up his defence hoping in an improbable 0-0 , a mentality who doesn't help to grow all , even the top teams who meet a different football in Europe .
And infact I still remind Trabzonsor created more troubles to Juve under Conte ( it was a better Juve than this ) than 90% of Italian teams. Do you want to say me Trabzonspor has a better team than Udinese and others?
When I watch EPL matches I can even watch a Burnley playing his match organized at Eithad. In Italy there is the idea that if you try to game you are destined to lose 5-0 lol
You can play football and conceding less than you 'd concede if you start with the idea to park the bus for 90 minutes.
This is the real problem of Italian football imo .
Mentality who doesn't get results and it worsen the whole football, besides the only clubs to stop Juve in own stadium were Sampdoria and Inter this year , and oddly enough the only 2 clubs to attack  also in Juve stadium and not only defending . ( Roma also did it , but infact we know that  "controversial  " match . But I mean, this was the right attitude) . That done by most  clubs  is  caused by   " provinciale " mentality as we say in Italy . And it is worse than the "quality" imo .
