As soon as we get a good few mill from a cup run, we do a fire sale in the next transfer window, pretend we're investing in youth to not get investigated for raping the clubs resources I.E spend £250,000 on random kids and £100,000 on a crap youth setup, talk about how this is the key to long term success, then we take the money and run.

that's not true. result yes, but the performance against a lower table 4th division side was surely worse than the other teams.

A team that puts Mata and Rooney in better/their best positions. Why am I not surprised.

Mole we did have a couple of wins, but it was always hard work, where we didn't quite perform but got the breaks due to individual quality.

I honestly cant remember the last time we looked as comfortable at Anfield as we did today, well the first half atleast. Tactically it was spot on. Collectively (apart from Rooney) we were great.

We were in complete control up until we scored the 2nd, then the players took their foot off the gas. Nice convincing win Can't remember the last time I said after Utd played away to LFC.

Gotta say Van Gaal really showed his worth today. Press the 3-4-3 high up and have an extra man in midfield and isolate the forwards while the 3-4-3 will have an extra man in the back-three. There you go, you will have control. Sean Dyche did it when we played Burnley away, they just didn't have the individual quality to score. United had in Mata, one great and one world-class goal. Van Gaal totally owned Rodgers today and got United CL football for next season.

There's nothing wrong with what's said in this thread, fact is he was making clown like decisions at the time.

Would be like me failing at my job and then turning it around months later and expecting everyone to forget it all.
