Ahh, that was meant to be gross. € 6M net seems "normal". Barca average wage bill is rumoured to be € 7.5M net. Then I'm confused.

7.5 average net does sound too high

Altough Messi probably gets 25m net/50m gross, so he elevates the average of course

but then, Messi doesn't pay taxes.
Guess I'm in above my head here trying to get a sense of this.

I was aware of the Bayern rebuff. But all our signings in recent history have made an effort from their side. To see a player dictate terms to the top dogs when he's not even currently a hot property doesn't reflect well on the player.

I'm serious. He probably knows he won't return to what he was after a serious spinal injury and tries to milk a fat paycheck as long as it's not fully confirmed that he's past it and clubs are still willing to take a risk. If he joins a new team and flops however that's it for his career.

I have seen him play only once and couldn't quite believe my eyes Barca signed this guy. Then again even before that match the kind of things people were saying about him was enough. Just why are such signings at all made? Isn't using youth better in such situations?

Song has good value due to fitting in the "English" player rule for EPL clubs since he was with Arsenal at a young age. City or Chelsea will give us decent coin for him. I think Afellay is returning but is actually a free agent this summer, so he is definitely not staying and Deulofeu is likely gonna end up like Bojan going from club to club. Adama is being promoted, and Munir and Sandro... I mean theres no point of him being with us

Are we so quick to dismiss Deulofeu? He's 21 yet. I understand he has an attitude problem but I don't see anything wrong with keeping him around the first team a bit and throwing him some games where we're already winning. Maybe a player or Enrique or someone can get to him.

I'm being overly optimistic though, I realize. Still, he's young yet and has talent, why the throw away attitude?

If Roberto Martinez and Unai both couldn't straighten him out and put some sense in him then yes I think his attitude is worry some. Lucho had him for like 2-3 weeks last summer, and even with Suarez banned he still opted to loan him out and take his chances with Munir and Sandro. Lots of red flags
