Oh and Barcelona appear to have pulled the plug on the Adriano transfer via Sport-Italia.

We met their asking price and agreed to terms with the player, but the club ultimately appear to be unwilling to part with them because of the lack of depth it would leave them with until January due to the transfer ban.

Roma now turn their focus to Olympiakos' Arthur Masuaku. We've bid 6m for him, but Olympiakos want 10m.

Lucas Digne remains another option for us although he's been heavily linked with Liverpool from what I've read.

Tbf it wouldn't take much considering Roma's GKs in recent memory lol, i can't remember the last time i saw Roma have a keeper and i'm like yeah i want him lol.

Honestly at this point, De Sanctis is still the de facto starter. It's up to Chesnuts to displace him though Rudi could simply just split their playing time between the league (MDS) and the cups (Chesnuts).

As for past keepers, MDS is probably our best since perhaps Antonioli 14 years ago, obviously when we won the scudetto. Been absolute donkeys between that time and MDS.

Also hearing that his loan is not a dry one and that we have an option to buy at 5m next summer. If he does well, I think we'll happily activate that option.

Would rather we convert Memphis and Januzaj to forwards than paying shitload for that donkey.

Doni certainly had a better run than MDS before that 7-1 and injuries IMO.
