tbh I didn't talk about GL, in Italy he is rated scrub but there is often superficiality about foreign leagues.
tbh he doesn't look like same level than Marchetti (the GK of other Roman club ) to me

I hope so. Not just because I'm Romanian and he is my fellow, but because he has so much potential and it would be a shame to waste it.

EPL isn't a league for Romanian players, since Dan Petrescu and Mutu at Chelsea (except the cocaine scandal, he played pretty well in his time at Chelsea), the Romanian players always floped in England (Ilie Dumitrescu at Tottenham comes into my mind). Only Pantilimon, Sunderland's goalkeeper, seems to have adapted to EPL, but he is a goalkeeper and being a goalkeeper is a different thing.

But if we take look at the Romanian players in Serie A, they had much more success than the others in EPL.

Chivu at Inter, Mutu at Hellas and Parma, Stefan Radu at Lazio and a lot other players came from Liga 1 to Serie A, even if they didn't confirm, they still have been scouted and sparked interest for the Italian teams.

Not to mention Roma's young GK Ionut Pop (17) whom I know personally because he is from Oradea, my town and in the past we used to play football together. Now I just meet him in the night clubs here.

George Puscas (also from my region ), Inter's striker is another Romanian player with potential and slowly entering the elite level. Played his first official game for Inter last season.

That being said, I can see Chiriches coming back to the form he was at Steaua in Serie A. There's a chance that he will continue his progress as a CB and develop himself as a true leader of defense and men. He could be a good addition to Fiorentina.

I have faith in Woodward to say NO unless Ramos is included, or he becomes available for us to get in a separate deal.

Galatasaray is also interestd in Chiriches. (DigiSport - Romanian reliable source)

Chicago's answer after selling out their allocation spot for Drogba for "more than $100,000" is to sign Toronto's Gilberto. Pretty much sums up Chicago as a club in recent seasons, to be honest.

Never considered us in this race anyway when you have a French-speaking player and a club from a French-speaking city on this side of pond competing with Chicago, whose name is the only thing that's inherently French about it

Drogba's English is fine, I don't think that factored into his mind. It was probably just a better offer for him.

Mutu expecially Fiorentina imo , I loved him  .
I 'd like Puscas would be also just half of Mutu, he looks like very promising, we'll see
