Back at his half season with Chelsea the lad got chances and yes he didn't take them. But he literally wasn't given enough time. I saw some potential in him, and I think he is a good player. Not saying he will be world class and deserved to break through into one Chelsea's best.

But City definitely lack players and that attacking midfield position. They really only have Silva, while Nasri fills in every now and then. De Bruyne would be a good purchase and he would add quality to the City squad.

2 or what is it now seasons ago when he had his stint at Chelsea he still was a young player looking to make his breakthrough, by now he would have gained some valuable experience to come back to the PL and make an impact to the City team. This is all considering he does eventually come to City.

Kane is not moving anywhere and is not for sale minus something absolutely Bale-like astronomical, and even then I'm not sure.

Harry Kane is happy and wants to be at Tottenham, the fans adore him, and he's the best player at Tottenham so Levy and the coaching staff obviously don't want to sell him. Especially since he's the solution to a striker problem that has been prevalent since Berbatov left, and with no real alternative striker available for Tottenham (even if Tottenham sold Kane and used that money to buy someone...who?).

Kane is the new face of Tottenham, he's not for sale. GTFO Man U

What is my agenda exactly? That I think Sturridge is a very good player, but I don't think he can be a team leading player and I don't think he's a top 5 player in the league? I don't think those are unreasonable opinions. I'd still like to have him back, fully healthy, ASAP. Even if I think his decision making is poor, he's overly selfish and has tunnel vision, he is still a great goal threat, possesses nice physical tools and draws a lot of attention for his positive attributes creating more space for others.

Of course if you guys are attacking my opinion I'm going to support it with posts that might come off as criticism, but that doesn't mean I don't think Sturridge is a good player.

Multiple sources in Brazil and Italy, including Fluminense's president say Gerson will be joining Roma in January.

Figures appear to be a total of 25m for him with Roma paying 16m up front with the other 9 due next summer. Barcelona, who lost out on the player, retain their first bid rights to him in the future.

Outside write-ups and youtube clips, I know nothing about this kid so I am naturally skeptical about so much money being thrown out for him. Whereas picking up Marquinhos for 3m and then selling him for 35m was sensational business, we only get there with Gerson if we let him go for 50 or more, which unless he becomes a Pogba-level world beater in Serie A, I don't see happening. He won't join until January anyway and will likely go to one of Bologna or Sampdoria as well due to non-EU status so he'll be one we probably won't see with Roma until next season.

As Roma shouldn't be afraid of paying 25 millions for a good player. you have to pay to compete with Juventus.

This move doesn't make sense, Roma are well covered in midfield, they more pressing areas elsewhere, 35 m for an 18 year old is absurd, very un-Roma like
