De Bruyne played quite well and was definitely City's best player for me.

It's a team game though and Liverpool defended well, and really ran City over with their performance.

I'm not saying either he had a world beater performance worth every penny of his 80m.
It can be very much debated how good exactly he is and whether he will prove to be worth it.

However, it can't be debated by YOU, if you don't even bother watching him.

As much as you want, De Bruyne couldn't possibly have a good game by any standards. Being the best in the team that did nothing (bar aguero's goal), is not an accolade.

It's funny, when I do watch De Bruyne the answer is that I should have watched him when he performed well, even at Wolfsburg, when I don't watch him but he obviously did nothing, it turns out he was being a kind of Makelele-Xavi mix, doing everything that doesn't appear into highlights right.
