Danilo is actually really bad imo. For a fullback, you either have to be very good tactically/defensively or have excellent agility and speed to cover yourself for your average defending.

He's bad as an individual. He simply lacks quality. Slow, can't pass, can't cross, can't dribble. Not even cicinho was this bad

i think he'd have been good at barcelona, with possession play, his defensive "skills" might not have been tested as often. he'd have the freedom to only make mistakes on the offensive end, but its not like the ball would always be at his feet either. with us, he's always called to action, hell, i'm sure there's some good footage of his attempts at defense at madrid

Well RM has an habit for overpaying players ( Contreao being the last wtf transfer ) .

Coentrao was hella good, especially defensively. If he wasn't perma injured marcelo would have been riding the bench for the past two years

I tell you what.. whenever I see Real Madrid fans demanding more from their players, on one level it looks good because satisfying the fans with titles and good football is the ultimate objective of any football club and the more demanding they get the more pressure the players and manager have to deal with, which is good.

But the negative side of it is that players and coaches are not given enough time at Madrid which leads to panic buys and silly mistakes.

Anyway finally I just want to say that Liverpool supporters are very patient when it comes to supporting the team but sometimes I feel that us being patient is what is making the players complacent sometimes (we haven't won the title since 2 and a half decades). So I think it's better to have a demanding set of supporters who will always look to pressurize their team which would bring out the best in them but at the same time people should put breaks on it and give the team some space to adjust themselves.
