Yup spanish jounalist are reporting that the deal can be as high as 1.5 billions for 10 years.
it was always going to happen, it will be the most expensive deal of all time. It's also going to improve for most teams like Chelsea, Juventus, etc, all the biggest clubs. In 5 years the picture will be different

It is crazy how quickly the top level shirt deals have been accelerating in value. Before United struck that ~€98m / per year deal with Adidas, Nike was paying them something like €30m per year. When we made our €32m deal with Warrior in 2012, it felt like a very good deal, better than both Arsenal and Chelsea had at the time if I remember right. But then they got their €40m deals in 2013.
We'll see what happens with Barcelona when their contract with Nike runs out in 2018.

I think its because United gave up the licensing and merchandising rights.
Income from all United merchandise will go directly to Adidas than the club.

It might increase if we win CL (not happening), but yea, 140/year till 2026. We'll probably get a better offer until then, though. The current contract was going to expire in 2020, but it was released.

Yep.
Their stadium is set to be revamped as well and they'll prob get a monstrous deal from the naming rights.
Well on their way to keep become the first €1b revenue football club.

The High Court of Madrid ruled against the stadium redevelopment and it has been in hiatus since then. So the word "set to be revamped" is not entirely accurate.

They are giving a push back to the stadium plans because we proposed a redevelopment of the area around the bernabeu, but environmentalist are pushing back a little. Nothing that money cant solve

The Adidas deal, I won't believe it until it goes official. As for Neymar, and realistically speaking, he's unsellable. Forget about how ridiculous his price tag and wages would be, the move would ignite a civil war, and Bartomeu's head would be on a spike right next to Ned Stark.

Doesn't matter if Nerman goes over tbh they bought Kaka, Ronaldo, Bale, Benz, Di Maira, Ozil, James, etc. They haven't done that good of a job to stop Messi, Nerman will be another on that list All tho Messi will be declining soon
