Thats how Ramsay's is. I liked that part actually. Wun Wun was going down bit by bit. Jon was having a nice parting moment with him. Ramsay was standing waiting and watching this whole development. And as soon as Jon is about to touch Wun, Ramsay sensed the window and sent the final shot to kill the giant.
That one sequence basically explains everything about Ramsay. For him its all a game. He loves torturing and inflicting psychological damage on his foes. Killing them slowly.
He could have killed Jon at that instant. But he chose to once again deflate Jon's morale by taking Wun Wun's life instead. Thats the way he likes to play the game lol. So no surprises there imo, what he did was exactly in line with his character..

Not to mention when he was aiming for Rickon, he could have easily aimed for Jon and killed Jon right there. But he wanted Jon to suffer. His biggest "strength" was also his biggest weakness.

I think that's what Glory is alluding to. In other words, terrible writing but masterpiece directing. Disagree that it was a bad idea btw. Even in seasons 1-3 when Rickon was getting lines here and there, no one really gave a shit about him. No one has ever given a shit about Rickon. Why would we start to care about him at the last minute? Lol irrelevant character for the most part. He's only relevant because he's a Stark and oh the Starks have suffered another loss.

I don't give a shit about Rickon either

But he served his purpose. It was never about that scrub, it was about Jon and Sansa loosing yet another family member. His (lack of) relevance means nothing. It wasn't about him.

Bad, bad, bad idea to come into this thread when you're just starting bruv.

Stay away from Game of Thrones threads anywhere on the internet and Game of Thrones videos on YouTubes(ESPECIALLY YOUTUBE).

Unless of course you enjoy spoilers, in which case, make yourself at home Laughing

Good lord, Drogon looks GLORIOUS! And to think he's going to get even bigger!

Anyone notice at 4:26 she makes points with her left hand directing Drogon on where to land? How did she gain so much control of the dragons? Is it some sort of telepathy?

Funny enough even though I'm always complaining, I have to defend this one.
It's not a gun.
People who know their stuff say the bow he was using wouldn't be precise enough over a distance like that to allow Ramsay a certain hit on target, he would just aim for an area.. thus serpentining wouldn't do any good, just slow you down.

So you are saying running unpredictably or changing your direction wouldn't have given him a better chance of avoiding that arrow rather than running directly to towards Jon giving Ramsey an idea where he was gonna end up and where his arrow needed to be..........okay.

Running zig zag would actually slow him down, and make him tired faster.
He was anxious and knew what was going on, so he really just wanted to get to Jon as soon as possible

They didn't make it clear in the show. But basically while Daenerys was away from Mereen and Drogon took her. In that time of isolation she realised what she has done wrong so far. She realised chaining her dragons was the worst decision she ever made. She also realised she is the MOTHER of Dragons. She could always control them but she never acted as their mother. That's why the Dragons were never really in her control. But she now can command them easily and the Dragons really see her as their mother so she just have to talk to them or direct them like she would to another person (remember Dragons are more intelligent than human as Tyrion said). And now Dragons happily listen to her

It doesn't matter how Rickon ran, Ramsay would've filled him with arrows either way as he did seconds later after killing him. That's why he had those crosses on the battlefield as range guidelines to see how far he can allow him to run.

Yea. It also appeared as to he was just toying with him. I am sure being a complete twat he could have just asked his entire ranged army to shoot at him and being trained n all they wouldn't have any problems whether he was running straight or zig zag

Above all. He had to die for the plot to progress.

He wasn't even looking at where he was "aiming", how is this even up for debate. Plus, the awesome range markers.

We were talking about zig zag, which means you're still following a straight line, just not running on it basically. And that's overrated if someone's shooting at you. I think the advice has always been and is still to run the shortest/fastest way for cover.
Now sure Rickon could have avoided getting shot by Ramsay if he went for something a bit more unconventional like say running in the opposite direction towards Winterfell, running around Ramsays soldiers. However I somehow doubt that would have actually saved him in the end.
Even if we just go for some crazy movement patterns to avoid getting shot you still have to consider that Rickon is an 11 year old boy running for his life. It's likely he didn't think at all and was just running. And of course as has been pointed out he was running from Ramsay but he was always running from potentially a whole army.

So are you guys in the Queen or King in the North camp? Feel like Jon will be named but Sansa would deserve it in real life, the lords wouldn't back a bastard, that would threaten their own seats.

Not sure what's next for Jon. Will he go back to the wall? Or will he stay to help Sansa out?

Was hoping Robb legitimised Jon but doesn't seem to be the case. Sansa is the queen and probably the rightful one too unless Bran returns. Even then he wouldn't want anything to do with winterfell.

Feels like the next step would be to start arming the North against the White Walkers. Perhaps he will convene a meeting of all Lords to declare fealty to the Starks and men for the battle against the dead?

Wonder if Howland Reed would come...
