Re: The Bundesliga Thread
He's afraid of Leipzig, obviously.
However since Leipzig are missing Werner, Sabitzer and another starter cause of flu he shouldn't be.
Selke is playing and he is shit.

Reus has had an awful game in front of goal. Dortmund should be out of sight by now.
Is that symptomatic of their season so far?

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
ffss that extra time. BVB, after having wasted 5-7 100% chances to close the game, spend the 3 minutes of extra time keeping the ball at the corner flag, getting a few corners and taing them short.
Then after 93 minutes all of a sudden the ref gives goalkick to what was a clear corner, Leipzig attack and actually score yet it's flagged offside lmao. Correct decision though.

I can't tell you that. Wasting chances has always been typical for BVB, yet Reus of course was injured for a good part of the first season half.
Apparently however it was the same last week, and then they conceded the 1:1 against Mainz.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
RedBull almost pulled off the draw, very close offside call, probably the correct call. Too bad RB were missing half their starters

Bremen wearing the Austria Wien colours, need to win this to keep pace with VW. Going with the feared KGB attack.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Selasie is outperforming the world renowned KGB front line, seems he is playing as an attacker today. The Fuggers from Augsburg just wont go away, ugly, route one football by the shot putters. Werder had the lead for about 10 seconds before the Fuggerei tied the game. 1-1 ht

Very happy for Augsburg that they got a win. Huge three points against relegation.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I know we live in a global world, but I have to admit, I was a bit surprised when going to the kicker website. The whole top page is about SuperBowl and NFL football and TB12 and Lady Gaga etc. Since when is the Super Bowl such a big deal in Germany? Though, I guess I should not be surprised, they do Monster truck now too.
Not surprised that Frankfurt beat Darmstadt, everyone does, but kind of surprised at how they are in 3rd place? You look at the players and it could not be more average. And it is not like they are relying on Meier to win games for them, OK a bit, but he has maybe 6 goals so far.
I am not sure why, but I feel really disappointed that Werder lost. Normally I would not expect too much from an away game-even if it is only Augsburg- but lately I have been expecting more from Werder. I cant pinpoint the exact date, maybe since the Hoff game, but at some point in maybe the last 5 games or so, I was actually feeling pretty confident about them moving up the table, safely out of the relegation zone.
For the Augsburg game, I was actually thinking they would win and they were, twice, but somehow managed to throw it all away at the end, which would be what I expected at the start of the season, but not now. Dont know where this false hope came from?
BVB apologizing about their fans, for attacking Red Bull fans, including women and children. People get really wrapped up in this whole 51% rule and proper clubs and all that . To a certain degree, I understand and even support it, but I think these so called BVB fans are just looking for any reason to be idiots, I call it the Trump effect.
Gladbach seem to be regaining form, Wolfsburg and bayer, not so much.
Frankfurt - Darmstadt (So.) 2:0 (0:0)
Augsburg - Bremen 3:2 (1:1)
Dortmund - Leipzig (Sa.) 1:0 (1:0)
FC Bayern - Schalke 1:1 (1:1)
Gladbach - Freiburg 3:0 (0:0)
Hertha - Ingolstadt 1:0 (1:0)
Köln - Wolfsburg 1:0 (0:0)
Hoffenheim - Mainz 4:0 (1:0)
Hamburg - Bayer (Fr.) 1:0 (0:0)
