You mention Affleck, but you do realize he'd have to face The Rock? Laughing

Warner Bros. could make WWE pay for everything to cast Cena in that film. He could play it fairly decent tbh. But there's better choices.

Cena is comedy gold recently though. His scenes in Trainwreck killed me

No doubt he is a decent actor and will put his all in that role but just the thought of my fav wrestler of all time to be playing as one of my favourite DC superhero is just wacky. Everytime he shouts in the film will just remind me of his promos in wwe ffs. It was different with batista as i didn't really care about him as a wrestler.

Now i want Cena to be Shazam ffs.

They can maybe use that kid from stranger things to be billy in 3-4 years. He'll be 14ish by then

Also @M99 where was it said she wasn't going to be a red head? No one has the coloured hair she has in the comics.

Thinking about if there ever was any critique of Momoa's race when he was cast? don't remember tbh. Only some complaints about hair.

Then again, after reading Aquaman comics for some time I've never seen his look as something that defines him.

Jason Momoa is also not white. He's biracial. He's basically nothing alike, but he's the most likeable muscled dyslexic person out there.

The Rock is a guy that could avoid it. If he had been cast as Shazam no one would've complained, at all.
